Makarena dance animation

Descrição
The well known and easy-to-learn Makarena group dance animation.
Made with MotionCapture and refined in SFM.

I refined it on the Combine soldier model and tested it on multiple Half-Life2 models.

To copy the movements to other non Half-life2 bone structure models, use this tutorial:

So? make it so the dance can be used with all the body structures

Maybe because not all the models has the same bone structures? :steamhappy:

*facepalm* why on earth can you not just make it so that it works across all models? instead of having to follow a tutorial to do it with non combine bone structures

I always did my animations hand to hand. This is the first time I'm doing Motion Capture and it's quite entertaining, but has it's limits.
About the saving. Once I finished with my animation in SFM, I right click on the model -->export animation and I export it into a file. I always choose "export animation", and not the "export facial animation" or "export taunt animation".

yea the transferring stuff is likely the explanation for the stiffness, do some hand to hand work with animation for a while eventually you would be able to do the animations by hand thats how some people do it. also quick question, how do you save your animations? ive been trying to save facial animations for later projects but couldn't figure it out

True. I'm quite new in using the software to transfer movements to models but trying to improve in the future. I keep losing some of the movements during the process. rig_biped simple helps a lot in stabilizing the legs and arms.

its not bad but could use some work since they are stiff in their movement, idk if your doing it but next time try making them with the rig_biped_simple enabled
