Uniforms & Heraldry of the Skaven 1.01

Hello man-things, this is a heraldry mod for the Skaven factions. It modifies faction symbols, campaign banners and uniform colours. For the sake of simplicity, you can view the new banners above, the uniform colours you can see for yourself. Credits go to gigiauz.

Compared to my Empire heraldry mod it's lightweight and not making very drastic changes since CA actually cared in WH II to make lots of Skaven faction symbols and banners look relatively close to the banners from the official heraldry book.


Uniform features:

- Reassigned and toned down uniform colours for almost all Skaven factions so they look closer to the dominant "uniform" or clan colours presented in the heraldry book.
- This also applies to the new minor Skaven factions introduced in WH III, to which the devs didn't apply any colour, which then again resulted in these factions having pitch black uniforms.
- Uniform models aren't changed, so the mod is compatible with Hooveric's reskin and probably with e.g. the Skaven Clans mod by Stratovarius as well.



Faction symbol and banner features are explained below since the screenshots alone probably won't highlight the changes enough to the unaware viewer.

The list from Pestilens to Volkn resembles the order of the screenshots shown above.

- Clan Pestilens: Replaced the "retarded" looking rat head on the faction symbol and banner with the rotting skull from the heraldry book. Increased the overall size of the banner symbol.
- Clan Rictus: Toned up the battle banner, toned down the faction and banner symbol
- Clan Skryre: Added the missing claw marks to the bottom of the faction symbol and banner
- Clan Moulder: Added a triangle pattern to the upper half of their faction symbol and banner
- Clan Carrion: Added a triangle pattern to the banner so it looks the same as their faction symbol ingame
- Clan Ferrik: New faction symbol and banner to resemble a red battle flag from the heraldry book
- Clan Kreepus: New banner and faction symbol as well as colours to look like the one from the book
- Clan Krizzor: New banner and faction symbol as well as colours to look like the one from the book
- Clan Mange: Added a triangle pattern to the lower half of their banner
- Clan Morbidus: New faction and banner symbol to look like the one from the book
- Clan Volkn: Improved faction and banner symbol to look like the one from the book, including a triangle pattern for the lower half of both the faction symbol and banner.

New in 1.01
-Clan Spittel got a brown flag with new faction symbol and pretty lustrian feathers.
Credits go to Partypus for the main assets.


Clan Mordkin remains unchanged for now because of a lack of usable assets.
