is there a way to play co-op modes like checkpoint and conquer from the insurgents team, like in sandstorm?
An easy way to add bots to your solo game is-------
I found the file server_solo.cfg in Insurgency/Config which I added the following lines to using notepad,
mp_theater_override theater_35angrybots8p_default
and the file default_server_checkpoint.cfg in the same location and I added the lines,
"mp_coop_ai_teammates" "1"
Voila,Now I have 7 trusty team mates in my battle. If I die then I use F key to take a bot over..
This solves the theatre issue ,if I wish to use one -else forget the bit about "mp_theater_override theater_35angrybots8p_default". AND more importantly adds friendly AI bots.
Else you could subscribe to a Theatre thru Workshop and then edit it to your idea.
You may need the vpk.exe installed to read and extract the Workshop file.
It is a bit of mucking around if you have never done it before.
Maybe send me a message and I could give you some idea ,but it will take you hours to do it ,mucking with text files.
