Instigator Heavy Corvette

A Heavy Corvette designed for screening duties, able to maneuver around and behind larger ships to protect them from fighters and missiles, whilst still vulnerable to hunter-killer corvettes and larger warships. With a Jump Range of 2463 km
the Corvette is able to perform long range escort duty for cargo ships and task-forces without needing to piggyback off other ships.

Armament 4 Punisher Burst Cannons, 10 Vulcan Gatling guns, 14 Flechette Rocket launchers, 16 Riptide Flak Cannons,36 Atlas PDC. Able to destroy incoming targets as far as 2km out, the corvette is an effective destroyer escort, or working with frigates to protect supply convoys.

Defense 8 small Shield Generators, 1-2 layers of light armor, 1 layer of Heavy armor around Pilot. Dispersed systems allow the ship to survive partial damage however if the Fuel storage detonates, the ship will die. The ship is reliant on it's Mobility as it's primary protection system, then weaponry, then shields, then armor. If the armor is taking hits something has gone wrong.
