More Aptitude Genes

Awesome, I'll be sure to check out your other mods regardless!

I'll add it to the look at in future list, but I don't know how far into the future it will be. Adding genes based on other mods has been discussed on the Discord server, but I don't want to start working on that until I am done with the Biotech style stuff.

There's still some EBSG stuff I'm working on (several of them being worked on right now, and even more planned for the near(ish) future). Some people have been asking for a More Biotech Style Abilities mod, the scope of which will largely depend on the amount of response I get on Discord when I ask for more precise details on what people would like to see.

I guess this is an overly long way of saying I plan on working on stuff like that in the future, but I don't know how far into the future since there's some projects I want to complete before I start even more.

Oh yeah the Vanilla Expanded mode for them lol I totally forgot to mention it since they blend in so well, it adds genes for aptitudes for specific weapons but Hussars themselves have a random one though sadly you can't select it, it's like their built in one.

Do you have some sort of mod that expands Hussars? As far as I know, vanilla doesn't give anyone a random aptitude like that.

Would it be possible to make a Random Weapon apritutde? Basically what the Hussar have built in. I really love that idea but fielidng a colony of Hussar is just kinda annoying. Pawns having an entirely random aptitude for a weapon would be super fun not sure why it isn't just a gene.

@yep I just finished More Violence Genes, and I should have More Movement Genes done either tonight or early tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'll remember to comment here when it's released, so if you're not using the All in One, I'd recommend either joining the discord or keeping a close eye on the workshop recent releases.

@Jack I looked into the need stuff some more, and found some complications. I am probably capable of doing it, but it will likely be a while until I do since learning how to handle the issues will take some time. It's bumped down on the priority list to be after some of the things that don't have any complications, but it is still there.

That does make sense. I'm also planning on trying to make a mod that adds genes that alter the loss rate of needs other than hunger, so if that goes well I'll make a patch for dub's hygiene in that.

The mod adds three needs. Thirst, hygiene, the need for a toilet. Accordingly, the genes for modifiers of these needs are logical. Desert impids would do well to suffer less from thirst.

@Yep Both of those are currently in my plan book. I'll probably bump them up in the timeline a little bit since they were specifically requested.

@Jack I haven't used Dubs hygiene in quite a while(pre-biotech a while). so I'm not currently sure what that would entail. Could you leave more details here or in the Mod requests channel in Discord my server [discord.gg]?

What about genes for Dubs hygiene? I think this mod is quite popular.
