Step by step:
Updated on 15th July 2023 according to the latest version v0.1.22a
  1. In the lower-right corner, click on the "A" symbol multiple times until it becomes 'Hell Mode', and then press the C key twice to display the measurements (you need this to measure performance).
  2. While in-game do 'N + Scroll Down' to reduce game quality to the minimum value possible (for me it's 11.1%).
  3. Fully turn up the heat (100%), and wait until the temperature reaches 300 ºC.
  4. Pull up the throttle valve up to arround 20%.
  5. Pull up the Water Valve all the way up (as long as the engine remains below 100 PSI), until you see the water pipeline flashing arrow, without actually filling up the water tank (water must always boil instantly).
  6. At this moment, you need to use the electric motor switch (to the left side), so that the wheel begins to spin with the minimal water being boiled.
  7. Then, once you reach arround 750 RPMs, you can continue to slowly pull up the water valve, all the way to the maximum flow (as long as it the engine remains below 100 PSI).
  8. Finally, gently pull up the throttle valve up to of 56% (sometimes even up to 60%) and simply wait.

  9. Remember that the water will continously flow in and get instantly boiled to produce energy for the engine, as long as the engine is below 100 PSI.

If you did everything properly in good timing, it should take just a few minutes until you can get this final result (with some additional tweaks you can further reach close to 5000 RPMs).

On this constant rythm, you will boil approximately 0.35 L of water every ~0.5 hours.

In Beta Branch, this method also work fine,But instead of starting with 20%, Go start with 10%, i go 13.03% and go 4279.9 rpm +-1 acting likes a sin function with 100% Water Value, It seen that in next release there will be ways to increase water flow speed for reaching higher speed.

It works thanks!

THROTTLE VALVE IN DIRE NEED OF MORE MORE DIGITS

@Aoi Blue: That's a nice theory, but unfortunately it does not work, at least not with how the engine is implemented in this simulator. Unfortunately, the game does not display the water usage, so I have pulled out the good old Cheat Engine and fiddled around until I found the variables that store the water flow (although I don't know what unit it is in) and here's what I found out:

Following this guide, I was able to achieve the following numbers:
Throttle valve: 56%
Water valve: 100%
Temp: 300° C
Pressure: 90 PSI
Speed: 4692 RPM
Water flow: 1.0377

When I try out your method, then I have to open the water valve to about ~30% to keep the water level steady, and I get
Throttle valve: 100%
Water valve: 30%
Temp: 140° C
Pressure: 37 PSI
Speed: ~4000 RPM
Water flow: 0.9986

So it's not a big difference, but your method boils roughly 3.8% less water than the method described in this guide -- at least in this game.

I believe @Aoi Blue is correct because their system maximizes water flow and lower pressure environments will make the water boil faster at the cost of engine efficiency (which doesn't matter if you're focusing on boiling water as fast as possible). The guide's version trades efficiency for slower boiling times and the water flow isn't maximized.

To consume more water you will want the chamber to be at lower pressure.

To do this, fully open the throttle and steam vent, with the water almost off, slowly turn up the water until you are just over 50psi (over that will cool the boiler pan too much.)

This will consume far more water as it doesn't have the back pressure of tons of steam in the boiler chamber. Notably, this won't get you nearly the RPM in the process, as you are letting off half the steam in the vent.
