Beskrivelse

This is a modified version of cp_badlands with a bunch of tweaks to increase performance, improve loading times and decrease file size. The layout of the map has not been changed.

IMPORTANT: To play the map after subscribing, type "map workshop/2995906288" in console.

CHANGES

- Added distance fade to some props.
- Applied "nodraw" to out of bounds textures.
- Optimized lightmaps.
- Optimized cubemaps.
- Reduced the file size significantly.

NOTES

This map is supposed to be a community fix.
This map has no gameplay changes, only visual ones.
The map has been compiled with both LDR and HDR and has built cubemaps.
If you want some feature to be added, feel free to use the comments.

And, of course, all credit for the original map goes to Valve.

I feel like you should release these in a pack instead of flooding the workshop with minor edits of a ton of maps that Valve won't be able to directly accept anyway. It's super difficult to look through the workshop between these and the "enhanced" versions of stock maps getting piled on.

If you are working off of decompiles, there are a number of things likely hindering the quality, especially regarding optimization. If you are working off the leaked versions, they are likely out of date with the current in game versions.

I get the idea behind wanting to take up this initiative, but it's making it really hard to find quality custom maps on the workshop in the swarm of minor stock edits.
