[LYN] VRE Highmate Feline Ears Use Hair Color

The other one ( https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2995500424 ) works, still has the inner ear thing as Kat said but it's fine

@Zilarrezko Finally made the move over to 1.5 and, yeah, this just doesn't work anymore for whatever reason, it displays full skin color on feline ears. Switched over to the mod "VRE highmate ear fur" (https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2995500424) and that one works better, but it applies hair color on the ENTIRE ear, even the inner ear area that should still be skin colored

So, sounds like it could be an issue with the base VRE Hightmates mod?

This mod doesn't work for me. Looking at the patch operation it targets the graphic data node to replace but the VRE cat ears gene def doesnt have one (anymore?), it has renderNodeProperties, so the mod doesn't seem to be having any effect.

[Update Note] I deleted most of my old mods from the workshop, as I don't plan on updating them anymore. There's a link on my profile if you want to take them over. The other mods in the workshop will all be updated to 1.5. Please be patient.

The HighMate cat ears that were added in with the mod are too low res for the hair, and it sticks out a lot.
Could someone please make a mod where it just uses the regular cat ears gene from biotech instead?

no since vre highmates adds a different xenogerme, so it doesnt work; just tested it

Fred has a point, the illustration should have blue ears, heh heh.
