Description
The FB.21 “Hope” is a flying boat biplane designed for air-sea rescue in all manner of weather conditions and scenarios.

Powered by a single 21-cylinder diesel aircraft engine, the FB.21 has over 300 kilometres of range and a top speed of 150 knots, with a cost of $41,904. It is able to carry 7 people (including pilot and navigator) in relative comfort; and has a medical bed and supplies for administering aid to any casualties. It also has a water cannon and movable spotlight for the extinguishing of large fires and a “viewing dome” at the rear from which those in distress can be spotted. As well, included is a digital map with visualizable waypoint system, a radio with 20 kilometres of range, and a transponder locator.

Thanks to its folding wings, the “Hope” fits in the starter base. This eliminates the need for new players to waste hard-earned cash on airports just to gain the ability to spawn aircraft; a feature many will no doubt appreciate greatly.
The FB.21’s aircraft engine has two large hatches for easy maintenance, and refuelling is simple and straightforward thanks to the easy-to-reach refuelling port located on the port side of the aircraft.

Operating Instructions

1. To start the aircraft, flick the switch marked "Auxiliary". This will turn on the radiators and radiator pumps, as well as other miscellaneous systems required for operation.
2. Flick the switch marked "Engine Starter". This starts the engine.
3. Turn on the navigation lights with the switch marked "Nav Lights".
4. Throttle up to 20% (to manoeuvre out of the starter base).
5. Once safely out of the dock, press the large button marked "Wings" or hotkey "3". (The button is directly behind and to the right of the pilot's seat, on the ceiling.)
6. When ready, press hotkey "4" and throttle to 100%. To takeoff, pull back hard . Once you have taken off, you may now disable "Boost Mode" and fly around doing whatever you wish.

Note: Because this aircraft does not have a boatload of power, be gentle in the turns and try not to pull up too hard; as you will stall and plummet straight into the ocean.

I'm working on giving her altitude hold and the ability to reverse. Should be updated soon.

Unfortunately not - you can edit the way the prop collective is controlled, though; I might add that.
