Browse the Nexus Mods website for the mod you want to install for Cyberpunk 2077. and then on the mod page, select the Download: Manual button to download the mod file.
2. Unarchiving tool
You will need an unarchiving tool for the zip files the mod is stored in, so be sure to have access to a tool like 7zip, winzip, or winrar.
3. Unzip the mod file's
Unzip the mod file's folder and save it in a location you can easily access, like your desktop or downloads folder.
4. Locate cyberpunk 2077 files
Locate Cyberpunk 2077 in your game library, right click on the game name, select Properties, select the Local Files tab, and select Browse Local Files.
5. Game files
This will bring you to the games' files and folders, which should include the game launcher and several folders like "archive" and "r6".
6. Mod installation instructions
Read the mod installation instructions in the description on the page from which you downloaded the modification.
7. Backup of game folders and files
Remember to back up all folders and files in case something goes wrong.
8. Checking the game
After pasting the mod files into the appropriate folders, launch Cyberpunk 2077 to see if the mod works.

This has got to be the best guide ever!!!! Basically tells you "Go to mod page, Read install instructions and then go to game to see if it works." So useless

Step 2 and 3 are redundant and

haven't played since terrible launch. Just reinstalled to try it again. any must have mods you can recommend? Don't care much for any character graphic changes mods, seems to be the majority of the mods on nexus. More mods that add features or QOL improvements.
