While the serpent's spine-covered body entwined with that of the god's, Gorga's fangs were poised and ready to strike an entire people down.

Over three thousand years ago, a giant grotesque serpent infiltrated the majestic temple of sunlit Atlantis, engaging in a true battle of the titans with Oceanos, the god of the sea.

Speculations suggest that this grotesque, six-eyed sea serpent emerged from the deepest crevices of the ocean. The priests of Atlantis, who sought refuge in Mystra, could sense the dark presence of this powerful entity in the waves. It was the first human who sowed the seeds of betrayal among the Atlanteans, unleashing the creature to capture the god. Their struggle triggered a cataclysmic tsunami that shattered Atlantis into four parts, dragging it into the depths of the sea.

Since that fateful day, Gorga has engaged in an eternal battle with Oceanos within the turbulent tides of the fallen sanctuary. Each vies for dominance, knowing that even a momentary weakness could lead to defeat. Only when Gorga regenerates does the god hear the fervent prayers of his disciples.

Gorga possesses a range of formidable skills, including the vicious Bite attack, targeting individuals, and the devastating Slash attack, striking multiple players in close combat. Gorga also employs the Spread ability, releasing warning waves to denote the location of imminent attacks. Furthermore, Gorga can dive underwater, unleashing a toxic Flood upon resurfacing. The serpent boss can summon its offspring, known as Gorga's Children, which explode and leave poisonous pools in their wake. Additionally, Gorga has the power to summon Deepsea Jitter-jelly creatures after the Flood subsides.

In order to overcome Gorga, strategic tactics must be employed. Before the serpent submerges, an earthquake trembles, slowing down movement. All players should seek refuge near the entrance, as the subsequent Flood inflicts massive damage over time. Assign a group of ranged players to focus on eliminating Gorga's summoned critters and prevent them from exploding near the melee fighters' area.
