All the English UI text ran through translator programs to make it nearly unrecognisable from normal.

If subscribing to the addon doesn't work for you, you can manually install the addon, although it is more permanent:

First download GCFScape[nemstools.github.io] .
Next, navigate to your L4D2 main directory and go to: "left4dead2/addons/workshop/".
There you'll find "2987826300.vpk". Import this file into GCFScape.
Find the file "l4d360ui_tu_english.txt" in the "resource" folder and extract it somewhere.
Next, go back to your main L4D2 directory and then to "update/resource/".
Finally, make a backup copy of the original "l4d360ui_tu_english.txt" and then replace it with the file from the vpk.
