Before & After
Main Guide
Step 1 ) Download and Extract DgVoodoo (dgVoodoo2_8_2.zip as of writing)
https://github.com/dege-diosg/dgVoodoo2/releases

Step 2 ) From the archive, copy;
- dgVoodooCpl.exe
- dgVoodoo.comf
as well as DDraw.dll,D3DImm.dll, D3D9.dll, and D3D8.dll from the MS\x86 folder, into the installation directory:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Family Guy Back to the Multiverse, where the game exe is located

Step 3 ) From inside the game's install open dgVoodooCpl.exe and configure as such:

Note: If performance is an issue for whatever reason, try lowering the Anti-Aliasing, or using AA through another external method such as the NVIDIA Control Panel, the main point is making sure 'Filtering' is set to 'Force point sampled'
Additional Fix: Centering UI Graphics in Fullscreen (Preventing Windowed Crashes)
You may have noticed that in Fullscreen most if not all the UI elements are *slightly* off center, this is most noticeable in animated cutscenes as there will be extra black space in the bottom.

The general fix found for this is running the game in Windowed, however as many of you also might know quitting the game while in Windowed causes the game to not launch afterwards (without having to edit REG files.)

The real solution / fix I've found is also using dgVoodoo, see Steps 1-3, afterwards, go into the 'General' tab in the dgVoodoo Control Panel and simply tick the Windowed button as so:

Make sure in the 'DirectX' tab that 'Application controlled fullscreen/windowed state' is disabled.

This will essentially trick the game into acting like it does in windowed, centering and fixing the HUD graphics / elements, it won't actually put the game into windowed mode however and will still behave like fullscreen, which may be beneficial or unbeneficial depending on who you ask.

This works wonderfully. WarWolfD's settings cleared up the blurriness. The only problem is that now when playing, even with "capture mouse" setting on, my mouse will go onto my other monitor. So turning in the game is impossible without accidentally clicking on my other monitor :( Had to download an external program to keep the mouse inside the monitor

At that point, if using a steam deck or some other Linux distro it might just be easier to emulate the PS3 version via RPCS3. This ports' delisting hasn't helped it in terms of support, compounded on an already rough PC release to begin with so you'd probably be jumping through less hoops to get the PS3 version going.

Unfortunately the game doesn't launch in proton when doing this.

If you want to fix the game graphics with smooth textures,
turn on "Force filter only if not point sampled"
and for Filtering
choose : Force anisotropic 16x .
I use v2.81.3

works perfectly. For anyone still playing this -
Download 81_3 zip, open the zip folder, drag the dgVoodooCpl.exe and everything in the MS/x86 folder into the folder SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Family Guy Back to the Multiverse. launch it and copy the settings as above.
