By Kommandant Hydra
Are u poor? Has Rungs stolen all your money again? Fear not!
In this guide I present the best way to farm cogs that I have found.

The basics and where to go
So the basic of this method of farming is that whenever you leave an area through one of these dotted lines every enemy will respawn so that's what will be exploited here. Now the question becomes where to go, for me the area left to the hub worked best.

There you will encounter 2/3 enemies (if you are playing on hard 3 on easy 2) that you can just kill.
Leaving and going back to the area will respawn them.
How to optimise gains and clear speed
Now for the optimal clear time and money gain you will need 5 different gadgets as well as one specific upgrade from Rungs.

1. The COG-SPLITTER (gives more money)

2. The RECOVERY POUCH (-!optional!- gives back some hp on your chronobreak, neat to have when u mess up)

3. The BLAST COUPLING (more DMG on your ranged attack)

4. The CHRONO-CONVERTER (more DMG when you have no rewinds)

5. The FORCE DAMPENER (more dmg in your slow field)

And you will need the TIMEWINDER CHARGE from Rungs.

The last thing left is to waste your rewinds to activate your chrono-converter.
Now that you have all of that, your basic combo on easy difficulties will be:

Slow field into charged ranged and then beat them till they die, the ideal way is shown in the video below. On higher difficulties you will have to deal with one of the flying enemies, but the strategies stay the same, just kill the ground guys first and then deal with the flying one.

i used the ceiling slugs in the hideout to farm money. Equip the cog gadget and just go up there and kill them. (i used the spin jump but they are all 1hit so anything is fine) They drop around 24 cogs.

Knew that one but ultimately scraped it due to it being not that easy to reach and on higher difficulties it will give less money, 1 to be exact. That is due to the fact that not scripted encounters (the ones where you can't leave the area) in separated areas are not affected by difficulty meaning their numbers are not increased (this fact I am not 100% sure of bc I haven't tested everything but so far it has proven to be the truth), intern not increasing the money gain and on the highest difficulty my original spot gives 17 and is quite easy to reach making it the best spot in my mind.

A slightly better place I found was just at the end of the first part of Cultivair. There's a group of 4 enemies there that give 16 when defeated. Force Dampener and Mag Cylinder are the gadgets I used. Throw the slow field to group them up, use phase dive and just attack a few times and they're dead.
