Medieval Fantasy Quest Rewards Retexture

Descriere

Hi everyone, I'm back with a new mod.
Over the last 2 years I have been playing Rimworld almost exclusively as medieval game with lots of overhaul mods. Because of that I was really excited with more and more medieval/fantasy mods coming out in the last months. One of them was an amazing Medieval Fantasy Themed Quest Rewards by Botch_Job which finally fully converted majority of the base game quest rewards. I loved the designs in this mod so much that I started remaking them for practice. The original textures are great and they fit the vanilla game nicely but I wanted to make them fit the artstyle of my favourite mods such as Medieval Overhaul.

Please don't treat this as me "improving" original designs. It's more of a remake I made for them to fit my mod list more.

FOR THIS RETEXTURE TO WORK YOU NEED TO PUT IT AFTER THE ORIGINAL MOD !!!

Q: Why make a retexture instead of making my own mod?
A: First of all it's much simpler to make an retexture. I didn't need to code other features of such mod. Also I think that Botch_Job did an amazing job with all the other features so instead of making another similar mod I just decided to change the art style a little.

Q: Is this mod X compatible?
A: This is a simple retexture. If something is compatible with original mod then I think it should be with this mod as well.

Q: I really don’t like one specific texture from this mod. What to do?
A: As of now I don't know how to make options menu that would allow you to change which textures are used and which are not.

Q: Will this retexture work without the original mod enabled?
A: Technically it will but it doesn't include majority of the Botch_Job's code which makes them act correctly so I really don't recommend it.

Q: Can I suggest any changes?
A: Sure! Just know that I find the mod finished and I probably will leave it how it is unless some idea really inspires me.

Tynan for making the gem of game that is Rimworld.
Botch_Job for the original mod and amazing contributions for Medieval Rimworld community.
SirLalaPyon and the rest of the Medieval Overhaul mod team for inspiring me to start modding.
Oskar Potocki for his great Rimworld art tutorials.
Everyone on Medieval Overhaul discord for honest feedback.

@Gman weird, Everything seems to work fine for me. I will get in contact with the MO dev to ask if he touched Glitterworld meds.

cool mod, but MO's unofficial 1.5 version updated two days ago and might have broken some stuff. So far .y exalted medicines appearance has reverted back to looking like glitterworld meds again.

If you want to only use the potions then I have nothing against it. The only issue is that the resurrection potion is heavily inspired by original design so if you want to use it you might want to contact the original mod author

The funny thing is that this mod is actually a retexture retexture retexture. The Botch_Job's mod started as a retexture of Medieval Quest Rewards by Avericat iirc.
