Описание
I think the title is self-explanatory.

No laugh when monsters miss or when you crit. Nobody roots for you in the Darkest Dungeon. In the Butcher's Circus laugh will play whenever anyone misses, but crits only trigger when opponent crits. A shame. Oh well, such is the way of the Butcher's Circus.

If you don't like the sound when enemy crits (laugh overlaps with voicelines from Ancestor), remove the last change line in the file mod.campaign.guid_overrides as well as comma after the now-last line. In fact, you can remove any sound change you want in this file (the game gonna keep the default sfx unless another mod comes in).

The mod is not BR-compatible. BR re-definies a lot of sounds and uses them differently than the base-game does. I might be able to add the laugh on most base-game abilities, but it's very likely to work poorly and I don't really wanna bother with all the new stuff (which will require me to do the work from scratch). Laugh when getting critted still works, however.


F.U.N.I. (fundamentaly useless & naturally idiotic) sounds is a mod series which replaces base-game sounds with something I find to be, well, funny. Which is usually random memes lmao. Take a look at the entire series:

I delved into a dungeon once more and I found out that only on getting crited, work. When I miss(by miss I mean many misses), nothing. I tried this on the the steam shop one, not the mod version/steam workshop of BR. I put this mod on the 2nd of the mod order. The 1st one has nothing to do with sound.

In this particular mod I don't simply replace the sound, I combine the base sound with the laugh (excluding the crits), as such I don't quite like the idea of looking for each modded class's sounds.
As for actual issues, there shouldn't be any, my mod is super basic implementation-wise, it'll work and won't break anything unless another mod changes the sounds it changes (at which case what can you compatibile, choose whatever you prefer by mod ordering lmao).

It sure does. There's actually two more unique sounds for two other misses, but one isn't likely to get them in a normal gameplay.

Does this mod play music when exsanguinate misses? I just had some music playing when exsanguinate whiffed. The comedic timing was good
