SHOWGUNNERS 100% ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE (WILL BE UPDATED FOR DLC IN THE NEAR FUTURE)
By Stab-Gyro
Although most of the achievements for Showgunners are fairly easy to get, there are a few that aren't as straightforward as the rest so I thought a simple guide might help a few people out there.

This guide does contain spoilers for some of the game content. I'd suggest at least playing once without looking these up for a more satisfying gaming experience.

STORY RELATED (UNMISSABLE)
There are 14 achievements that you get simply for going through the game from start to finish.

These are as follows (and in order of appearance):

EXPLORATION
For pretty much all of these you should be able to get them all provided you do everything each level has to offer (fan interactions, loot boxes and optional combat arenas). There are 16 of these achievements in total.

I've arranged these in the order I think most people will get them:

Sponsorship deals are quite an important part of the game in terms of the potential bonuses obtained. You should be able to get your first one at some point during "The Old Quarter" episode or "Abandonned Housing Block" at the latest. My personal suggestion when it comes to sponsorship deals would be to go for the right hand side column as it offers bonuses that are valuable long term. Never ever take the ones in the middle column as they bring no gameplay value whatsoever.

This will come naturally, you should hit the 50 mark around the "Metro Central" Episode.

Same as the above, you should get this at some point during "Metro Central".

Oddly enough, this should come pretty quickly after the previous achievement, during "Industrial Zone" as there are more optional combat arenas to get through.

The 4 achievements above should be obtained during the "Industrial Zone" episode or shortly after in the rest area for the audio logs.

For the 5 achievements above, they should come in pretty quick succession during the last episode "Amber Harbor".

Once you've completed "Amber Harbor" You'll be back in the resting area where you can recover the last set of audiologs before your fight against Ulysses.

As you walk the red carpet before your fight against Ulysses, you'll have a couple of reporters ready to ask you questions and these count as fan interactions for the purpose of the achievement. You also have Luna the dog waiting for you to pet her on some stairs.
GAME DIFFICULTY
These are pretty straightforward, and because you can switch the difficulty of the game whenever you want, you may be able to change it to HARD on the last fight and get the corresponding achievement but I'm not sure if that would work or not (not tested). Also it takes away from the fun of doing a whole playthrough on the hardest difficulty, which in all honesty isn't that much harder than normal. There are 3 achievements here:

COMBAT
Combat is where the harder achievements lie, but most of them are attainable by playing naturally through the game. This guide was mainly created with this section in mind for achievements that are a bit more convoluted in their descriptions and not as simple to understand.

I've tried to put them in order in which you can obtain them, but I got 100% over two playthroughs so some of these may be slightly out of order.

Some of these are character locked so I'll mention this for the achievements that require it.

These are the remaining 13 achievements

This should be achievable quite early on once you get access to grenades. You'll often get SCUM type enemies start quite close together in most arenas so just kill a group of at least 2 at the same time and this should pop up.

Again this should come quite naturally, you just have to take 150% of your character's HP (any playable character works for this) so make sure you have medkits at the ready to be able to get this done. Because you have fewer health points early game this is actually easier then, but it's quite unlikely to miss this in a normal playthrough regardless.

This one actually gave me a bit of a hard time cos I didn't understand the description of the achievement so I only got it on my second playthrough. However once you understand it it's pretty simple and can be done quite early on.

You need TYBALT for this one and to have encountered the MUERTA type enemy. TYBALT must be injured a bit and then use his ability BODY SWAP to swap bodies with an enemy other than a MUERTA (whichever enemy is closer to TYBALT, but preferably out of range of the MUERTA), and finally place him not too far from the latter. On the enemy's turn the MUERTA should heal Tybalt by mistake and this will unlock the achievement.

For SCARLETT to get this you need to have unlocked her BERSERKER ability which allows her to recover 1AP for any MELEE kill. This becomes far easier later on in the game where a combination of multiple abilities can allow you to kill 5 to 6 enemies this way. You can use other characters to damage a series of enemies (without killing them) that are in SCARLETT's range, letting her finish them off in one fell swoop.

I'm putting this achievement here as you can use the tactic outlined above to achieve this. Towards the end of the game this becomes a piece of cake. This isn't character locked so it counts all kills in a single round, but you can also do this by simply using SCARLETT once you've unlocked her BERSERKER ability.

This becomes doable once you've revealed the OGRE type enemy. When they take enough damage, OGRES will drop their weapon to the ground and start regenerating. If that happens you can't get this achievement, but there is an easy workaround. Using TYBALT and his SABOTAGE ability (you should be able to unlock this quite early on) on an OGRE will render the latter unable to regenerate. Just make sure you're able to do enough damage with the rest of your characters to finish him off in one round and this will unlock the achievement.

For this you must have WARDEN in your party and to have unlocked his EASY TARGET ability which allows you to mark an enemy thus making it impossible to miss him with a ranged attack. Simply kill the enemy marked and that'll do it.

Once you get access to PHANTOM, upgrade her abilities to get LURE. Use another character to throw a proximity grenade not too far from any enemy, wait a turn and hope no one else steps in the danger zone, and then use LURE to force the enemy towards the explosion radius and that should kill them. Proximity grenades do 50 damage so most enemies will die but obviously SCUM are the easiest ones to go for.

Again this is for PHANTOM only and it's extremely straightforward. Once you've unlocked STEALTH STRIKE , turn her invisibility on and go to an enemy that you know it'll kill. It does a lot of damage so this shouldn't be difficult, but when in doubt go for SCUM for an easier time.

For this you need MARCUS and to have unlocked his HEALING SMOKE ability. Simply throw the healing grenade in a group of injured friendlies and the achievement will pop.

THE REMAINING ACHIEVEMENTS ARE END GAME CONTENT (POST ULYSSES FIGHT)

Once you reach Omega Tower you'll soon be faced with OMEGA GUARDS and more importantly OMEGA-SEC. The latter has very similar abilities to TYBALT and have an impressive 70HP. On their first turn they seem to always want to hack one of your characters so just shoot them on the following turn to stop the hack from completing but DONT KILL THEM. On the following turn they nearly always use a sticky bomb that they attach to one of your characters. When this happens, get the character with the sticky bomb and place them next to any enemy with less than 20HP. As soon as its their turn they will die in the explosion's radius, unlocking this achievement. Make sure to have enough HP on the character with the sticky bomb so that they don't get killed by the explosion themselves.

This is TYBALT locked and you must have his HACK ability unlocked, and although this can be done much earlier in the game I found it to be somewhat easier in the last section of the game as you have more robot type enemies. If you want to get this earlier on you have to have met DRONE MONKS. On their first turn they release a DRONE, you can then hack it on the following turn and with a bit of luck it'll finish off an enemy for you or even better kill the DRONE MONK that summoned it. Now in the very last section of the game you'll be facing OMEGA-209 robots which do a good amount of damage and have a lot of HP. Hacking one will be quite helpful no matter what, but if it finishes off another enemy for you then this will unlock the achievement.

This is probably the trickiest achievement unless you run into a bit of luck. When an OMEGA-209 robot dies it explodes and can damage anything that's close to them. The radius is quite small however and seems to only be up to one tile in all directions. The damage is also very small with only 10HP being lost for anyone within the explosion. For this achievement to unlock the explosion has to kill an enemy so that enemy has to have equal to or less than 10HP.
There is a very tight battle arena in the last section where these robots keep arriving in elevators powered by batteries. Because this arena is a tight corridor it's easier to get these robots in close quarters and if you work it out well enough you can even use one to kill another when it dies. I actually ended up using PHANTOM's LURE ability to get one OMEGA-209 next to another and then made sure one of them had less than 10HP whilst I focused fire on the other.

THANK YOU FOR READING
So that's it, hope this will help a few people out there but don't hesitate to give me feedback if there are things that aren't clear as this is my first guide after all.

I hope you all have as much of a good time playing this game as I did and hopefully we'll get even more content (or even better a sequel) from this fantastic little DEV team in the future.

ADDED SOLUTIONS FROM COMMENTERS

For Sticky Bomb and Malfunction Kill @letir says:

"Damage for enemy abilities scaled with difficulty level. If you want to make Sticky Bomb and Malfunction Kill easer, set the things up and then increase difficulty to Hard, so it deal more damage."

For Impostor @letir says:

"Impostor work with Monks and Bishops, who also have buffing ability. If Tybalt close enough to them in the camo, he will be 100% targeted for buffs. There is one ambush encounter in Disaster Area, against two Bishops, two Scum and a Ronin. You can simply run forward a bit and swap with any of normal enemies, and Bishop will target Tybalt."

5. Deratization - you need to activate switches in Augmentation Chamber to stop reinforcements from the sides. Let one enemy alive near the doors, then hit switches. Tybalt with phasers can stun them in place.
6. My Ears! - activate sonic weapon in Acoustic Lab. Everyone outside of the bunker will be stunned for 3 turns, so don't worry about killing your own team too much.
7. Laser Precision - Decontamination Zone feature deadly laser "walls", which kill anyone in the warning zone. Use Tybalt with phasers to stun one enemy, while your team cleaning the rest.
8. I'll Save You, Jeannie - final arena of Decontamination Zone (out of three) contain side-quest from Phantom - taking item from middle of the room, in 5 turns. Do not rush targets in the 2nd arena, kill enemies and place Phantom near the doors on the north. When they open, use invisibility and run to the quest objective.

Here is DLC achievements advice:

1. And We're Back - beat Contamination Zone, main mandatory mission of the DLC.
2. No Lab Unturned - win three optional arenas before Contamination Zone.
3. Restrained Order - kill a Stalker. Use Tybalt with phasers to keep them stunned.
4. Forced into Hiding - deal big chunk of damage to Stalker without killing him outright. You most likely get in anyway, because they can disappear even when stunned.

@Эрвин ван Дорн I'll try my best to get this done and edit the guide accordingly in the next few weeks. You might have figured out the last achievement by then but in any case I'll post a comment when I've updated it. Thanks again for making me realise I needed to complete this guide with the new DLC.

@Эрвин ван Дорн I'm sorry I'm not entirely sure what you mean? Could you explain what you're referring to with DLS and what you mean by deratization?
Ervin van Dorn [UA] 27 Aug, 2023 @ 7:38am
