A GUIDE TO FIX FPS DROPS STEP BY STEP.

Its Simple and EASY to do! just in these 3 STEPS.

1. Open your FILE EXPLORER find your "Steam" file so that you know where's FarCry 6 located. It
could've been in your C Disk OR D Disk.

2. Go to Steam > steamapps > common > Far Cry 6 > bin > FarCry6 > Click your RMB (Right Mouse Button) > Properties > Compatibility > Click "Disable fullscreen optimizations". > Apply > OK.

3. Press your WINDOWS KEY, search for "Game Mode" and turned it off! for some reason for far cry 6 it works if you turned off game mode so that you don't have FPS problems.

EDIT: for anyone else who doesn't see all those options when opening the application properties... I had to right-click and run the application as administrator once (start the game then quit out again) before I could see all the options including the 'Compatibility' tab.

OPTIONAL SETTINGS

Download Libertad Mod:

FcModding[downloads.fcmodding.com]

(Optional In Game Settings: turn off FidelityFX, FSR, HD Texture.)

If there's still a problem try to turn off Geforce Experience Ingame Overlay

UBISOFT CONNECT > TRIPLE LINES (ON TOP LEFT) > SETTINGS > GENERAL > TURN OFF "Enable in-game overlay for supported games" (make sure to do turn it off when the game's not running.

You will get this "Warning message" but its fine you can still launch the
game
