They might be allowed to make translation changes after the next big update/dlc, but that's a big maybe.

Unit Upkeep: Cannot go below 50%, not sure how it rounds, I think it reduces unit enchantments.
Rallies: Rallies can summon multiple full stacks that are deployable simultaneously. Draft recruitment builds units one at a time, which are undeployable until you have a full stack, costing upkeep for no benefit in the meantime. You can released owned cities as vassals. City tier of vassal matters IDK?

Gold: Diplomacy. Only reliable method of TIII to TV equipment. Bribes are cheaper than pyrhhic victories.
