Storyteller - Major Madness

描述
ABOUT
Major Madness is a storyteller second and an antagonist first. He will barrage you with raid after raid until you're forced to say "auf wiedersehen!" to your colony. Will you persevere and seize victory, or crumble under the beat of his war drums?

Warning: This storyteller has no qualms about dropping major threats on your colony in quick succession. Don't expect a fair fight!

This Major is identical to the one in Hellsing ARMS Ultimate. Because of the redundancy, the two mods are incompatible. This one is for the masochists out there who just want a difficult and oppressive storyteller without all the rest of that content. Well, good luck!

  • The Major is a character from Hellsing, a manga by Kouta Hirano which spawned two anime:
    Hellsing - Impure Souls in 2001 (Gonzo Animation) and
    Hellsing Ultimate in 2006 (Satelight, Madhouse, Graphinica).
  • I do not own or represent any aspect of the Hellsing IP. This is simply a fan work.

RECOMMENDED
Rim of Madness - Bones & Rim of Madness - Bones Enchantment
  • Since so many raiders are coming your way, they can help build your colony!
  • Although the Enchantment retexture is listed as only supporting up to RimWorld 1.2, it actually works fine in 1.4.
Hotseat - Dynamic Storyteller Switcher
  • Automatically switches storytellers from time to time to give you a break in the action.

Interesting. I don't think there's anything about this mod that would override such a setting. I wonder if the shifting nature of the Hotseat is a problem for those settings, or if you happen to have a mod that adds a "super secret drop pod raid" raid type or the like. Well, at least Major provided a memorable experience lol.

I was interested. Until hotseat switched to him, and despite my settings being set so that drop pod raids cannot happen (since I find them boring and a source of "Fake" difficulty, oopsies your defenses got completely bypassed!), and I got an out of nowhere drop pod raid of abnormal size, that wasnt even announced.

Mind you, if that wasnt the mod's fault, fine, I do use a heavy load order, BUT its a little too convinient that it happened only after the storyteller swapped lol
