Modest Map Manipulator

解説
Permanently spawn, edit, and remove props and entities while playing ANY gamemode.

How To Use
  1. Spawn the props/ents you want to save.
  2. Open the menu (bind a key to +mmm or use the toolgun).
  3. Right click them, click "Make Permanent".
  4. Hit the "Save" button. It's just that simple.

Features
  • A physgun-like tool called the Grabber.
  • Ability to auto-remove all map entities.
  • Spawn any model and entity in any gamemode.
  • Weld and Rope constraints in any gamemode.
  • Edit color, collision, visibility, motion, gravity, constraints and more.
  • Easily add doors to maps.
  • Permanently save your work and have it load every time.

Examples
  • Install any custom entity (like from the workshop) into any map.
    Add Minecraft mob spawners to Minecraft maps. Install some ladders to climb up higher.
  • Block off those unwanted areas with solid walls.
  • Remove problematic traitor buttons in TTT.
  • Place NPCs to fight against in your very own campaigns.

There are plenty of maps that simply don't play well with certain gamemodes or have things in them that aren't exactly fun for everyone involved. With this tool you can finally solve those problems instead of putting up with them or removing them from your map rotation.

Saving of key values is whitelisted so that it does not explode.
This could be done better, for example letting you know which ones aren't saved or letting you yourself decide to save stuff, but this tool is no longer under development.

Unfortunately, the key values are not saved correctly :(
For example, if you set Explode Damage to a high value and then save it, it will be high at that moment, but not when you reload.

I got tired of working on GLua stuff. It's such an old engine with serious limitations in comparison to modern engines, and while Lua is great it's only a scripting language.

It cannot currently as there is no way to grab them. It would possible to make some way, but this tool is no longer in development.

I think hotloading in level geometry is a bit too much to ask for this 20 yearold game, gmod is versatile but it has limits
