How to get "Rave Avatars"
By MarioGlitchy64YT
Have you ever wondered how to get one of these cool, "rainbowy", flashy, and also sometimes highly annoying "Rave Avatars" you see sometimes? Well if that is the case, I have got you covered with this simple but thorough guide. :D

Step 1. (Getting VRChat booted up)
Boot up the game and find yourself in your private little island that you still haven't changed to some other world.
Step. 2 (Finding an Avatar search engine)
Once you have opened your menu, head to "search for world" and type in any Avatar Search engine you know. It could be one of the most famous ones: "Prismic's avatar search" or if you are into Sonic Avatars there is "The Muder of Sonic The Hedgehog Avatar's"
Step 3. (Joining and selecting an avatar)
Once you have found your avatar search engine of choice it most likely has one of two layouts.

Layout 1: an "actual" search engine.
In these kinds of layouts you usually find a keyboard, a mirror and two spaces for your avatar name and for the authors name. Upon inputting your desired avatar and hitting search you will see pictures of avatars to appear somewhere near the machine. If you press on these pictures you will turn into those characters.

Layout 2: a collection of avatars
Here you probably only have some walls and pictures of avatars already right there. The only thing that you will now try to search is the perfect avatar for you.
Step 4. (What exactly to search for)
Layout 1:
Here you have it relatively easy. I have prepared some keywords that you can type to most likely find one of the characters you like: "RainbowSeason"; "ParipiRasta"; "LatinGang"; "Mercury Rainbow"

Layout 2:
If you have found one of these layouts, I am unable to help you. As there is no real feature of looking for something specifically you cannot really find these avatars there as they are rather rare due to not a lot of them exsisting on VRChat.
Step 5. (How to save your avatars)
To save your avatars you simply open up your menu, go to the avatars section, click on "recent avatars", click on the avatar you want to save and then click on "Save to favourites"
Depending on if you have VRChat+ or not you can save up to 300 avatars. If you happen to not have VRChat+ you can only save up to 50.
Final Step 6. (How to activate the effects and absolutely ra- I mean misstreat your PC)
By pressing "R" (Desktop mode) or holding "Y"; "B" (VR mode) you open up a quick menu in form of a wheel. In desktop mode you use your mouse to navigate but in VR you use the joystick of the hand that the menu is open on.
Once you have successfully opened the menu you will need to go on the right option "Emotes". After confirming your selection you will now see custom emotes that come specifically with this avatar.

While testing out these avatars, please do all of us normal people who just want to enjoy talking to each other a favour on hop on to a private world so you don't bother anyone.

With that all said: Happy Raving!

Oh yeah I should've specified that. You can't have 99% of these avatars on your quest as they are visually very demanding.
