-- The Dazed effect applied by Shock Pulse is not explained in the ability's tooltip, but you can read the description in the Demolisher's Dazed and Confused perk, which has the same effect.
-- Nothing you do with your perk grid actually matters, for this or any other kit, it's all smoke and mirrors
-- Concussive Pulse and Shock Ordnance are the best replacers if you want to get the most consistent use out of Shock Pulse and any buffs you attach to it (eg. Down & Out, Aftershock, Shell Shock). This is because these two replacers remove the 4-second buff you would normally get on cast, which means your cooldown starts immediately.
-- Shock Ordnance in particular combos really well with Aftershock and Down & Out, as the effects seem to apply simultaneously on hit, resulting in a surprisingly bursty abilit
-- Hazard Seals is always good to have if you can fit it in your grid. As a Phalanx you are always in the splash zone.
