Makes ships quieter since some people find it grating when playing at x8.


Reactor Changes
  • Reduced Reactor interior volumes by 80–60%, depending on their size.
  • Lowered pitch of all reactors by 70%.
  • Having multiple reactors no longer increase their collective loudness.
  • Exterior volume is unchanged.

Feel free to leave suggestions as to what else to silence. I might change those too.

ion beams. please give them the same treatment. they are obnoxious in volume and tone while idled. zoom in one one and your ears bleed.

@Viper I've done some tests and found out the cause of noisiness other than volume. Now the pitch is lower and reactor sounds do not stack when there are multiple.

can you make it a bit more than 80%? it still drowns out all other sounds in comparisons
