What are steam awards? To simply put, they're a way to flex imaginary clout on others.
As you can see here, there are a plethora of awards to give depending on the situation!

As this image explains, there is no limit to the amount of awards a profile can receive.

I obviously want the points so I can horde a bunch of steam points to buy rewards for myself.

Steam points to simply put, are a worthless addition to steam other than buying cosmetics for your profile that don't affect anything other than the euphoria you gain when looking at them (not including the various, abnormal amounts of hentai and catgirl pfps)!

Although describing this, I never answered why I want them. To answer, I want the steam awards to simply collect and redistribute award points and awards to my friends and peers profiles! Nothing feels better than receiving an award, other than maybe a -rep comment from a toxic f2p player, and I wish to pay it forward!

You're going to want to navigate to my profile, and click the yellow award ribbon button next to the add friend button!

Now, you're going to want to find the appropriate award to give that player! I personally favor the jester award to hand out, because everyone is a clown but me!


Finally, after you selected a good, appropriate award to give someone, the UI will ask you if you forsure want to give that specific award? Disregard all the text it's saying to you, it's irrelevant. Simply, click that big blue award button!
