This guide is written based on Build 1718. As this is an early access game, things might change.

The following things are not covered well enough by the tutorial and are essential to running an efficient warehouse.

1 - Your drivers can only make a certain number of stops per day. This is determined by two things:

Logistics Manager Skill
- A logistics manager can add three possible destination points based on skill level. The first point is unlocked at the following levels.
  - +1 points - skill 25-49%
  - +2 points - skill 50-74%
  - +3 points - skill 75-99%
  - +4 points - skill 100%
Type of Vehicle :
- A van ( UMC Desert) gives two destinations by default.
- A truck ( Freight Truck T1) gives four destinations by default.

A maximum level Logistics manager - 100% - with a Freight Truck T1 will yield 8 stops.

But what about driver skill?

Driver skill is currently only necessary for allowing the driver to use the Freight Truck T1. Your driver must have at least 50% skill to drive this truck. There are no other discernible game play effects.

Tips about Warehousing

You can only assign one logistics manager per warehouse.
You can place as many pallet racks as you want without regard to access, putting one right in front of the other. As each rack only has space for 60 item slots, some items - like clothing - take up a huge number of slots. Always try to fill up the warehouse as much as possible!

@vee you have to figure out how much each store sells per day, and stock a little bit extra in case you have a very good business day.

I.E: Selling 350 units per day, set up 400 as the minimum stock for each store. That way the delivery driver will make sure it has 400 per day. I'm running 10 stores, jewelry stores, 4 donut shops, a clothing store, and a liquor store. I ship around 10,000 donuts and all of my stores are perfectly supplied so its possible

Delivery management is extremely time consuming at this point. Drivers don't deliver even exact specified amounts when calculating amounts in box + shelf space = truck space. I also am at a complete loss on how to set up 'Delivery Schedules'. If I can automate stock deliveries more efficiently, I'll think about expanding retail but managing 10+ shops is becoming tedious and extremely labour intensive. Right now the best business to have is office but once you have a couple of those the game becomes a bit boring as you just rinse and repeat for more profit.

my driver isnt delivering to shop i have plenty space in storage shelves i even tried putting the items in the van ready for the driver to deliver and items were still in the van pleeeeeease help am i missign something

Thanks jhughes for clarifying that. I have not tested all possible. I need to do a little more experimentation and then reword the guide a little since it is apparent there is a difference between the van and the truck in overall number of slots.

Hello,

My logistic manager skill is 76% , and I only do 3 destinations. Am I missing something ?
I have an UMC Desert

McBrei, you likely need more storage shelves in your store itself if the warehouse isn't delivering- you won't get an error message if you are out of room. The storage shelves are available from both appliance stores. It is also possible you are selling out of the item before the end of the day!

Do you have a cloue about delivering from warehouse to shop ? It looks everytime that the items dont come to the shops.. i get everyday a information that item XY is empty... but in my warehouse every item is avalibel
