Holy Issac

Another boss resprite. This time around I wanted to make the Isaac Boss much more "Holy". And I think I pulled it off with flying colours. Enjoy mates. (And tell me what you think)

EDIT: Making a mod for Forgotten, Big Head Forgotten specifically. And added glow to all phases, to sell the holy feel. Enjoy.

EDIT: I felt the lore issues with the second phase were a problem. So I changed that.

This one took quite a bit more work. Since I was not only finding which items fit the aesthetic, but how to properly tie them into the sprites.
The Mitre aura was painful. I had to move it around alot and secretly cut off a small bit of glow. Same with the Redemption cross I put on the head last minute.
The Trisagon glow on half the face really turned out well (Originally I intended the eye, but then I found adding extra white around half the face created a more surreal look)
Kept the other half normal, so he doesn't look tooooo altered.
Revelation Costume wasn't as hard as you'd think to add, just took a bit of time to adjust one of the sprites (The upward arm one)
I also had to rein in adding even more, because otherwise it'd be too much detail.


The boss art though, was such fun to make. Honestly pretty happy with how that one turned out. Really sells the feel.
