Opis
Because the originals had issues.

What originally spawned as a side project to fix the issues with the Combine PM's, then eventually Metropolice, kinda became a bit of a full cover of edits to most if not all the playermodels included with Garrysmod by default.

If you ever looked closely at some of the vanilla textures and models, you start to see problems fast, the default Combine uses the pre-release texture which is inconsistent with the NPC version, Shotgunner was poorly made and the normalmap of the original soldier did not fit the shotgunner at all in some spots, Metropolice had just plain white in some areas of its textures, like the gloves and belt stuff and more errors and inconsistencies of that nature.

What type of issues did you get with colorable cs:s playermodels? I wouldn't mind going the full way and making the terrorists uncolorable. :]

I mean if i did reup the old version it wouldnt really be supported anymore, plus i understood why some of the playermodels were made uncolorable to begin with like the CSS guys bar Leet and Phoniex, and in general the colorable textures have issues i cannot really fix easily.
