A-10 engines are farther back

engines on the A10 actualy sit on pylons attached to the fuselage. the exhaust is also angled upward . both of those points allow the airflow to not interfere with the control surfaces. if your able to angle your exaghust upwards and add a pylon you should do alot better

Sir your a menace to society for making real planes in ksp it is the forbidden rule you do not do this....

these aircraft are amazing to fly even though the A-10 is a little hard
