Karambit Marble Fade Fire & Ice Pattern Explained
Usually, the Karambit Marble Fade features a unique mix of three colors - red, blue, and yellow - on both its playside and backside. The percentage of each of these colors on the skin varies based on the skin’s pattern index. For instance, some patterns may have a large portion of red, while some may have a larger portion of blue. Generally speaking, patterns that are blue-dominant are pricier than their red-dominant counterparts.

The ‘Fire & Ice’ Karambits are Marble Fade patterns that are entirely (or almost entirely) covered in red and blue, without any yellow inclusions. There are also several ‘Fake Fire & Ice’ patterns that are predominantly covered in red and blue but have noticeable amounts of yellow on their tip.

As the pattern shifts left to right yellow begins to be introduced at the tip. As soon as any hint of yellow/non-pure blue appears this is considered a max fake fire & ice. The rankings below show all pattern indexes that were available that are true fire & ice. At the end is a list of all what are considered to be max fakes and regular fakes.

Fake F&I or Tricolour
If too much yellow appears at the tip of the blade then it the knife would be considered a tricolour. A karambit can be considered fake fire & ice if the blue on the blade doesn't reach the corner of the handle shown in the below image. This is harder to discern compared to the other knives. Boarder line fake/tricolour are very similar in price so the differentiation isn't critical.

This is how fake Fire & Ice can be seen. Sometimes it is very difficult to distinguish even from FFI.
