"An on and off project for me. This my attempt to replicate door c17 with modern PBR textures and a higher fidelity mesh. There were some problems trying to extrapolate some details from the original resolution texture, in which case I improvised. Since this version I have made some adjustments like making a new door handle and making a door frame and removing some of the ornaments as I thought they didn't really fit the aesthetic of the original. Will post updates if anyone is interested when it's done which should be soon-ish.

I saw they were working on it with "RTX", but the last time I looked, (just a few days ago), it was still at the unplayable stage. Here's hoping that they get it to work.

S&Box is the Source Engine 2 pseudo-squeal to Garry's mod. There is also a team working on a RTX Remix mod for RTCW. Maybe the door will find it;s way there,

An "S&Box"? Is that like an in-game sandbox in order to get it to work? Have you heard of the community upgrade for the 'RtCW' engine called, "ioRtCW"? The only reason that my HD textures work is because of that amazing modification. It was created by Man-at-Arms.

I was was able to put it into S&Box, but ran into some lighting issues. Didn't really do anything further with it since I don't have a project right now that would make use it. I have some ideas for it but I'll get to that bridge when I do.
