A Comprehensive Guide to Wireless Adapters

To use just connect to your PC, no drivers to install or software needed.
In Windows
  • Plug in the wireless adapter
  • Hold the PS/Sync button on your Guitar/Drums and then do the same on the wireless adapter untl both blink quickly. After a moment it should connect and show the corresponding player LED lit.
  • Repeat for other players or if you’re solo go ahead to the next section.
In GHWTDE
  • Launch GHWTDE
Open the settings menu using the ⌨️KEYBOARD
  • Select “Bind Controllers”
  • Go through the list and change all options except the 2nd to None
  • Open "Select Controller"
  • On the 2nd option select "Guitar/Drums For PlayStation (R)3"
  • Select “bind controller”
  • Select "Change Type"
  • Change the device type to the one you’re using
  • Select your binds and then test your buttons to verify they are bound correctly. All buttons and whammy functions should be availible.
Tilt is not availible on these in windows.
⚠️NOTE: I HAD TO SET WHAMMY AXIS TO INVERTED⚠️
  • Repeat for other players or if you’re rolling solo then go ahead and rock on!
Disconnect without removing batteries.
Disconnect the adpater for 10 seconds, the guitar/drums will search and fail to connect and power down.

Is it possible to get GHWTDE working on the Steam Deck and would I be able to use the PS3 drums and dongle on the Steam Deck?
