Brownstones 1

Описание
Brownstones are amongst the most common types of buildings (apart from skyscrapers) that you can find in New York City. They get their name from the typical redish brown stone that is being used for cladding their front facades. These days, brownstones are often quite expensive and high quality property, although over time many of the initially single family homes have been converted into multi-unit apartments.

The pack Brownstones 1 only contains 2 buildings and uses 4 sets of props with 3 variations each. This way you only have to plot down one building to get about 350 different combinations of buildings.

The full asset only shows up after fully plopping (or growing) the building!

Brownstones 2 contains normal variations of Brownstones.

Attention: Works best if placed on flat ground.

Very complex model. The actual building only makes up a couple of tris, all the rest are props. Therefore data below refers to the versions as they come with props. There are multiple sets of textures.

LSM reports duplicate assets. I subscribed to "Brownstones 1" only once:

@Hebby This error means you somehow subscribed to the asset twice. It doesn't break it, the message just tells you that the dublicate asset got removed. Maybe you got a local copy of these assets in your folder as well as a workshop version? In any case it should work normally, you can use "Find It" mod to find and plop the asset, as they are normally growables.

Just started Cities Skylines and this is the only workshop item I tried subscribing to, however the below error pops up when I load into my city, any thoughts?

Also, where should I look when I'm loaded into a game to actually use this asset? I'm not sure if the below error prevents usage because I don't actually know how to use them :)

these are dope. As a resident of Gates Avenue Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn, I approve. The only thing missing is the fire escape on the back of the building.

@Update: Dublicate corner versions removed, Var2 removed as well as its not working properly. Might be added back later, use Var1 for now, it's just a flip version anyway.

@growpool Oh snap this exact same thing happened before and I have absolutely no clue what causes it, since only some of the variations seem to be flipped, but not others. Therefore some versions work just fine, while others are messed up. To add to the confusion, this only appears after uploading the asset and the using the workshop version. I'm working on fixing it.

Status report: after uninstall and reinstall of this collection, "Brownstones Variation 1" is working FLAWLESSLY! It looks, however, that when placing the "Brownstones Variation 2" building, that the props "Brownstone Windows VAR" and "Brownstone Foundation VAR" are generating both mirror images of their respective props instead of ones that would only have the door placed on the right side. I also now appear to have duplicates of "Brownstone Corner Left" and "Brownstone Corner Right," which could be related to the update. Regardless, I'm putting the one that works everywhere in my city! Can't wait to see what you come up with next, amazing work!
