Description
What's that? Cake for dinner?! Change up your restaurant style and scratch that sweet tooth itch by adding Cake as a new main, selectable in the lobby!

This recipe is a little complicated and somewhat difficult to fully automate, but it serves six portions, comes with a reduction in customers, and pays well. This mod is meant for cooks who want just a little extra challenge in their restaurant, while being able to afford the appliances needed to keep up with it.

Cake extras cards come in the form of:
(Descriptions spoilered in case you want to find out on your own!)
  • Strawberry cake:The easiest extra cake, with nearly the same recipe and only one new ingredient.
  • Chocolate cake:Not a whole lot more complicated, however you'll need extra space to fit everything.
  • Cheesecake:An almost entirely different recipe. It's quicker to make, but only serves five portions.

Hello, I love the mod but I think it has built in priority because this card will always appear as a selection during a run where mains can show up. I can just disable it when I don't want it to appear but would be cool if they were all equal. Thanks.

The update to Ingredient Lib is causing this mod not to work.

@Spirit it's on our list of ideas! As I mentioned earlier, we consider Cake for Dinner to be a completed mod, however we're working on a separate mod that will add more cards to base game recipes as well as to Cake for Dinner (and to our next recipe mod mod, coming soon!)

Has anyone suggested "cake with ice cream"? I.e. adding ice cream scoops to cake slices before serving. Might add a more server-dependent element to the mod and increase its breadth of gameplay effects.
