Who and for what
One of the main things in combat that we face is gaining experience for performing various actions - killing the enemy, capturing points, reviving squad members on you, and so on and so forth. The experience goes to the level of the character and the squad we play for.

What is it for? Raising the level of a character gives career points that can be spent on unlocking sets of weapons from classes in squads in the main mode, as well as opening weapons and accessories to it in deathmatch/team deathmatch modes.
Its abilities depend on the level of the squad, some of them open only when a certain value is reached, as well as the form (if it is not a custom match with a given year). The total squad level is the sum of the squad levels of its individual members.

However, you may unexpectedly discover the following situation - the character's level is growing quite cheerfully, but your personal level of squads seems to be almost not developing. Why is that? We'll figure it out.
If you look closely at the lines of getting points, you will notice that they come in three different colors - white, green and red:
Red
With red, everything is simple - it turns out for hitting allies or killing them, depending on the settings, and means removing a certain amount of experience from you. And no, do not confuse the red color of the nickname and the red numbers.
White
You will see the most white lines - this is the killing of opponents, points during the capture and when capturing points, killing while defending or attacking a key point, if you are on it at that moment, experience for killing from a "long" distance, help (when you wounded the enemy, and him, in a state of injury, killed another), experience for killing in melee, in the head, interrupting an enemy series of murders, as well as related to the abilities of some classes (for example, additional experience for killing with cold weapons). Plus it's the experience you get for medals at the end of the fight. By the way, since we are talking about medals, you can get them based on the results of "official" matches, that is, this does not apply to user matches where there are no awards, except in cases of playing offline (activated when you do not have an Internet connection).

Green
But with green lines, everything is more interesting - this is the experience gained for player as part of squad. The most basic thing is killing the enemy while in the area of the commander's order (does not apply to the officer himself) - in addition to 15 "white" points for killing, you will receive 15 "green" points for following the order. If you are within the radius of your commander's "aura", then when he kills an enemy, you will receive 5 "green" points. An officer can also get such experience if the fighters from his squad kill someone while in the area of the order, + 5 greens. Also, if the officer kills the enemy, then sometimes he gets from +5 to 15 experience points. It kind of varies from squad members, but I didn't find any patterns in getting it. Another source of "squad" experience is rebirth on squad members, and it is given both to the one who is reborn and to the one on whom.

Summary and tips
What is all this about, you ask? And to the fact that if absolutely all points go to the piggy bank of the level, then only "green" points go to the piggy bank of your squad level. The game thus encourages us to act together - and in general, the experience is faster, and the only way to pump squad levels is not at the speed of a snail. It's another matter how to work together with random or with bots in general, but this is a topic for another conversation...

And yet, how to quickly grind squads? The advice is simple, although it may scare many away: play with bots. There is nothing to do: the more intense the battle, the less chance you have to earn "green" experience, even if you play as a cohesive team, because the officer is also the same fighter, who additionally has responsibility in the form of abilities and command, which means he physically often cannot keep up everywhere, given the chaotic nature of the battle. While playing with bots, you will have plenty of time and opportunity to act the way you need.

So, how I do it: we create a custom match, password-protected, we put our opponent a support squad (so as not to interfere with gas and shelling), a low level of AI, 64 bots and, if the game is for the Entente - the Carpathians, in the case of the Central Powers - Baltic or Poland.
Why? By trial method, personally, these cards seemed to me the most suitable for shooting dummies on the one hand, tightening on the other. It is not profitable to play as a commander, any other class is needed, but it is imperative that the order remains in the positions we need. If there is at least one enemy point in the neighbors, the order you set, in case of maintaining positions, will not be canceled.

In the case of the Carpathians, this is the "Fortified Buildings" point, we need to capture it and shoot hordes coming from the position of a 305-mm gun, or from a Church, for this a position on the second floor of the house is well suited, with periodic climbing on the roof.
In the case of the Baltic, this is the central point, the AI will advance on a wide front to all three positions in the center, and from here it can be easily shot.
In the case of Poland, these are haystacks and the shooting of hordes of opponents fleeing from headquarters.

And do not forget about the /sethqcaponly true command, which you need to write to the chat so that the match does not end prematurely due to the stupidity of allies / opponents. You can additionally enter /setbotdamage 0 so that bots don't kill you, if desired.
