1 - Download the save file folder right here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ghBDgx-YIIgAh1_jJTqQetJOZCBXnr0n/view?usp=sharing

2 - Unzip the file, there should be a "steam" folder in it

IMPORTANT, DO THESE NEXT STEPS WHILE YOUR GAME IS OPEN AND WITH CLOUD SYNC OFF, DONT FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR OWN SAVEFILE IN CASE OF ERROR

3 - Find a folder named "Dead Space Remake (2023) in C:\Users\Your Name\Documents

4 - Open the folder and find another folder called "settings"

5 - Open it and replace the "steam" folder by the one you previously downloaded

6 - Restart the game and the save should be installed

How 2 Use

After installing the save file, load into the game and click "Continue". You will spawn right before the final boss fight of the game. Simply fight the Hivemind and then finish the game. You'll get the achivement after the final cut scene and you'll be able to start a New Game + and unlock the Hand Gun and Burned Suit

Disclaimer:
I have not played this game in over a year. For the past months i have been adding people who had trouble installing my save file to their game and gathered some solutions if it does not work for you. If it does not work for you, try other solutions. There are plenty of people in the comments dropping alternatives and others have also shared new ways to get around steam's savefile protection.

There is an easier option. Edit the steam_autoclud file. Change inside accountid to your ID then the save data works fine. Open the steam settings and the account tab will contain the "friend code". This is what you need

yeah the save point where you start in impossible is the last save point in the game, no auto saves on impossible, but you are basically at the hivemind since its a small walk away from it

(J'ajouterai) j'ai donc jeté dans le dossier de sauvegarde du fichier pas tout, mais seulement ces fichiers étaient oktorye de 05.02.2023 et j'ai tout travaillé! merci

OK. - J'ai tout fait par étapes comme dans la Description "cela n'a pas fonctionné", puis j'ai fait comme dans le commentaire d'Aerox et j'ai réussi. MAIS! le jeu a commencé avec votre sauvegarde où vous vous tenez devant la salle de décontamination. Pas devant le patron de Hivemind

Я сделал все по шагам как было в описании "не получилось", потом сделал так как было в комментарии у Aerox и у меня получилось. НО! игра запустилась с вашего сохранения где вы стоите перед комнатой обеззараживания. А не перед боссом Hivemind

1. Disable steam cloud.
2. Replace files in save folder.
3. Open the game; it prompts fresh start up.
4. Opening cutscene starts.
5. Game generates new save folder overriding the Impossible save.
6. Delete save folder steam_autocloud.vdf.
7. Manually copy all Impossible save files to the local save.
8. Wait for cutscene to end.
9. Cutscene ends, hit Back to Main menu, continue takes me back to where I left to main menu 10. and only load save is the same.

I checked the Save file location and there are files named NGP1-0.ngp, SG02-60.sav, SG05-103.sav, etc. Checking the steam folder under settings and it is set to read only which I saw was one suggestion you had. Close the game and it resets all progress, wiping the save folder. Double checked and cloudsave is off.

I know you said you've been done with this game for a while, but any help would be appreciated to know what I'm doing wrong. :)
