Introduction
I felt that there was need for a guide on the best possible way to earn tons of gold while AFK for multiple hours. There are other guides but they are mediocre, this is by far the best one after being thoroughly tested on all accounts. This guide guarantees the greatest bang for your buck (under the current game release), or your money back.

Start the guide half an hour before you go to sleep or go out and enjoy the results when you return.
Part 1: Obtaining the initial funding.
Required to start for part 1:
Queen Sigma
Greatest Jubilee
21,000 gold

Use your SEAL PowerUps in the Collections menu to disable this weapon and as many of these seven torch drop items as you can in this order of importance:
  • Sole Solution

  • Floor Chicken
  • Orologion
  • Nduja Fritta
  • Vacuum
  • Gilded Clover
  • Little Clover
  • Rosary

Set the max weapons to 3, pick Queen Sigma and start the game on Dairy Plant with all options other than Hurry mode enabled.
If you will be letting the game run for 3 hours or less: Enable Hurry mode.
If you will be leaving it running for more than 3 hours: Disable Hurry mode.

Remember to DISABLE Damage Numbers and Flashing VFX in the menu! These will lag out your game and lag will infact reduce your gold per hour GREATLY!

Immediately head for the merchant and buy an extra arcana and the Candybox. Pick the Greatest Jubilee from the Candybox and then take the following items and arcanas:

Extra weapons: Laurel.
Passives: Empty Tome, Crown, Stone Mask, Skull O'Maniac, Torrona's Box, Duplicator.
Arcana (in order): 1. XIII - Wicked Season, 2. XV - Disco of Gold, 3. XVIII - Boogaloo of Illusions, 4. XX - Silent Old Sanctuary, 5. VIII - Mad Groove, 6. IX - Divine Bloodline.

After obtaining all of the weapons and passives make sure to Banish the Greatest Jubilee weapon's 9th level, collect all of the stage items starting with the Metaglio Right and Metaglio Left in order to evolve your Laurel. You should soon get a Super Candybox II Turbo from a chest after levelling everything up, which you should pick the Gorgeous Moon from.

Stand on one of the stage's trap buttons and go AFK. You need 180m or more gold, this should take approximately 3 hours with this setup.

Part 2: Creating your ultimate AFK gold farming character.
Required for part 2:
Big Trouser
18,000 or more Golden Eggs purchased on him

Start playing on Moonglow with Big Trouser and head immediately north to find the Eggman and buy the maximum number of eggs that you can. If you purchased more than 25,000 Golden Eggs, head south on Moonglow and choose to remove all movement speed related eggs.

Use your SEAL PowerUps in the Collections menu to disable all of these seven torch drop items in this order of importance:
  • Floor Chicken
  • Orologion
  • Nduja Fritta
  • Vacuum
  • Gilded Clover
  • Little Clover
  • Rosary

Set the max weapons to 3, pick Big Trouser and start the game on Dairy Plant with all options except Hurry Mode enabled.

Remember to DISABLE Damage Numbers and Flashing VFX in the menu! These will lag out your game and lag will infact reduce your gold per hour GREATLY!

Start with the Greatest Jubilee. Buy an extra arcana from the merchant and then take the following items and arcanas:

Extra weapons: Laurel, Clock Lancet.
Passives: Spinach, Crown, Stone Mask, Skull O'Maniac, Torrona's Box, Duplicator.
Arcana (in order): 1. XIII - Wicked Season, 2. XV - Disco of Gold, 3. VIII - Mad Groove, 4. XX Silent Old Sanctuary.

After obtaining all of the weapons and passives make sure to Banish the Greatest Jubilee weapon's 9th level, collect the stage items starting with Metaglio Right and Metaglio Left and start evolving your weapons. You should soon get a Super Candybox II Turbo from a chest after levelling everything up, pick the Gorgeous Moon from it.

Stand on one of the stage's trap buttons and go AFK. The longer you leave the game running and active, the more gold you will be making exponentially. Important note: The game begins to lag once approximately 180 Treasure Chests exist at the same time, without Hurry mode enabled this takes a bit over 7 hours to happen on the Dairy Plant stage. Therefore, try to make sure to pick up all of the Treasure Chests at least once every 7 hours if you can help it.

Done correctly you should make about 5 billion gold in about 7 hours with this setup and this number will scale incredibly as you leave the game running. Happy farming!

Part 3: This has gone too far already but we must go further still, for science!

Requires: at least 200,000 Golden Eggs on Big Trouser

So you've done some gold farming and you've invested a few too many Golden Eggs into Big Trouser, so that now the game almost bricks itself when you try to do the previous gold farming method thanks to all the curse and the enemies it tries to spawn as a result, what do you do?

Use your SEAL PowerUps in the Collections menu to disable this Passive and these seven torch drop items:
Pummarola

Floor Chicken
Orologion
Nduja Fritta
Vacuum
Gilded Clover
Little Clover
Rosary

Set the max weapons to 2, pick Big Trouser and start the game on Il Molise with all options except Hurry Mode and Limit Break enabled.

Remember to DISABLE Damage Numbers and Flashing VFX in the menu! These will lag out your game and lag will infact reduce your gold per hour GREATLY!

Start with the Greatest Jubilee. Buy an extra arcana from the merchant and then take the following items and arcanas:

Extra weapons: Garlic
Passive: Banish Pummarola if not SEALed, take any you like they're almost irrelevant.
Arcana (in order): 1. XIII - Wicked Season, 2. XV - Disco of Gold. No others.

Get the first 7 levels of Greatest Jubilee and then Banish the 8th level of it. Level up Garlic, take or banish any and every passive you like or banish all of them, ignore the Super Candybox II Turbo if you get it offered and don't take anything from it.

Leave the game AFK wherever you like and watch silly amounts of money come in. The stage has no enemies, so it's pretty much the only one that will work for your Big Trouser any more. Best of luck, I take no responsibility if you spend hundreds of billions of gold on more eggs and your game has a hernia trying to process it.

Questions & answers:
"I'm moving too fast or lagging too much to pick up chests!"
Simply tab out of the game and tab back in, for a few seconds the game will run slowly and you will only move about 5% of your normal distance, letting you make precision movements.

"Why the Dairy Plant instead of the Bone Zone?"
The amount of extra gold you get on a stage is only half the equation, the other half is killing as many enemies as fast as you can. The Bone Zone's enemies get much harder over time so the number you kill will quickly fall off, so it is overrated. You only get a 30% drop in gold (270% vs 300%) for doing the Dairy Plant and in exchange you will get constant influxes of very weak enemies to slaughter for tons of gold and the trap buttons will add even more.

"Are there any other weapons I can take to make this better?"
The more enemies you kill and faster, the more gold you will make. However, some weapons generate lots of lag and aren't worth using, while the rest are too weak or small area to be of any use. Echo Night is the second hardest hitting weapon there is but it will grind your game to a halt, while the Phieraggi does half the damage of the La Borra and generates 2x the lag. Everything else is far too weak to consider.

"How can I get tens of thousands of Golden Eggs without harming my wrist?"
There is now an NPC called the "Eggman" to the north of Moonglow, he has the option to spend 100% of your gold on buying Golden Eggs for the current character. If your movement speed is now too high for you and you have 25k or more eggs, go on the Moonglow map and head south and you can choose to get rid of all movement speed related eggs.

If there are any further questions, ask them in the comments below and I can add them here.

@Effluvial Kraken
You can actually farm 1b like in 7 min now using Sammy.

I was really confused because I couldn't come close to getting 180m gold in 3 hours. I think you meant to say 300 minutes, not 3 hours. 300 minutes is 5 hours.

I love this guide... my Switch does not LOL! Level 520 and 699,000 gold and the screen is painting.

@Heck Master
If you like doing that, you'd love Disgaea 4. As it so happens I just recently finished writing a guide for that game for making every number go ridiculously big and doing everything you can ever possibly do to get 'stronger' in record time from the start of a new game.

Thank you very much for the detailed and effective guide! I love making characters ridiculously strong for no reason other than big number make brain feel good.

No need in Sigma. Trouser farms more without any eggs (300kk+ in 300 min run).

@ArcyPaweł
If at any point you see any part of the guide that you don't understand the purpose of it, there's a 90% chance that the reason for it is "to reduce system lag, so the game runs faster and more enemies spawn and are killed in the same amount of time."

Why banishing level 8 of Jubilee?
Amplify  [author] 21 Nov, 2023 @ 10:12pm
Lag related + you don't want it to give you the evolved Garlic, it could potentially mess you up if it's offered to you while AFK.
