Killing Leviathan Remnant Efficiently

This strategy holds off the Leviathan Remnant's third attack stage, as long as possible in which it will punt you with its tentacle, destroy all cannons, and constantly send spike mines AND puss balls while you're trying to kill it.

This guide is for medium difficulty, As story and easy mode requires less hits and the potential to lose health by its attacks is less severe.

Try this method in in your first playthrough or in impossible mode as the most risk-free tactic.

For hard/impossible mode, know that you need to take one shot extra with the ADS cannon on each weak point (that is when you have destroyed the hard covering) (so that makes 7 shots for each weak point).

Also make sure you have a reasonably upgraded plasma cutter or contact beam with you, because on hard/impossible mode, the tentacle will probably destroy your last ADS. But if you have followed the routine, the weak point probably won't take many shots to be destroyed. Have fun!

1. The center cannon
- Zero G out of the airlock and make your way to the center cannon first!

- Shoot the middle shell until it breaks
- IMPORTANT: shoot the inner mass 6(!) times ONLY, don't destroy it!
(of course, dodge the tentacles as much as you can)
2. The Right Cannon
Travel to the right of the structure,

- shoot the corruption off the oxigen tank
- take oxygen
- shoot the right shell until it breaks
- now shoot 6(!) times (don't destroy the soft mass just yet.
3. The Left Cannon
Take oxygen if you think you're not going to make it and travel to the far left cannon
When you pass the center window, there's an oxygen tank as well, keep moving to the left most part of the section
Note: do NOT bother with the center cannon yet!

- shoot the corruption sitting over the cannon controls
- shoot the left shell until it breaks
- now shoot 7 times to destroy the soft mass
4. Finish your work
head to the center oxygen post and take some
- shoot the center mass once so it is destroyed.
- immediately head to the right,
- dodging some spiked balls shouldn't be too hard use the force gun to clear them in front of you if you will and remove the spiked ball if it's blocking the cannon UI
- Shoot it once to destroy the right soft mass and the leviathan is truly dead now!

ah, I'm now playing hard, so I was going to arrive there and test, so that means that the laser cannons have their own fixed damage numbers.

Ofcourse. This is more of a guide for the first couple of time you don't have a contact beam or something. Because as you are through the shells, you can shoot it with any weapon.

I'd like to see if you could one shoot the soft mass with a fully charged contact beam or something.

But this guide is about keeping it at its first attack stage as long as possible. So I still think this is the best way to do it to receive minimum damage, Less risky strategy for when you do impossible mode.

Is this shoot 6 times on Normal difficulty?
