Armor is generally the last or second to last line of defense against enemy weapons, one exception being PAC guns. PAC cannons have no counter other than being too far away to be hit by them, destroying the PAC, or some type of decoy drone. Do not feel bad if a pierce PAC gives your 50 billion dollar ship internal bleeding. This particular piercing PAC will (with some unluck) more than likely kill your steam engine, blow up your ammo, destroy your rail gun, kill your dog, nail your cat in the ear, burn down your house, kill you, "befriend" your significant other (ha kidding FtD players don't go outside or have relationships), make your dad go bald, rob your friend, kidnap your siblings, tell Count Olaf your location, release a deadly snake to kill your uncle, beat you senseless and then break out the whips, stomp on your face, rip your heart out and make you eat your own lips, crack your elbows, crush your fingertips, back a car over your grandma and then dissect her cat, and then maybe pour gas on the rest of your family, cuz piercing PAC is coming, and you're on it's list!
