How to connect two radiators in one socket
must be connected in parallel, rating [24]

if connected in series, the rating will become even worse than that of a single cooler rating [55]
What the numbers?
the rating is derived from the time spent warming up the engine from 70 to 90 degrees (the slower the better) and the time spent cooling it down from 90 to 70 (the faster the better). Absolute numbers give an idea of the difference in efficiency, but this does not mean that a rating of [40] is twice as good as a rating of [80]

for liquid liquid exchangers, water was used with an intake from the sea with two large pumps (in, out)

for air exchangers, air was also pumped through one large pump for in and out

under different conditions, such as heating rates, etc., the numbers may change, but an electric radiator is always a winner

I think seawater cooling is bugged, theres 0 cooling effect when i pump 4C cold water into a 114C hot manifold, also, no coolant scaling happening.

What is the set up for sea water? I've tried it but it works exactly the same as no cooling at all

It's a coolant manifold

what is the black thing in the middle of the picture in "how to connect two radiators in one socket"

how do you make a cooling system using salt water? i tried it and it didn't work, engine temp shot up

well, this confirms that the liquid heat exchanges are just totally useless, they should be the best...

Nice work.

Did you happen to measure the flow rate on these setups?

Thanks for the guide. Recently I dealt with cooling an excessive 84-cylinder supercharged diesel engine. It turned out that using 2 small impeller pumps powered by a small electric motor was adquate to keep coolant flowing inside 5x5 radiator at speed of 60L/s.

Note: 0.1 input for electric motor was enough to achieve max flow speed in my example, so there was no need for 1.0 input which would increase electric consumption.

What about electric radiators when turned off?
