Ever felt like bombs are totally useless in Project Zomboid ?

Or that you can't kill hordes quick enough ?

Then this mod is for you.

It simply adds a DIY bomb that you can make pretty easily.

No skill requirements, ingredients are :
  • 10 units of gunpowder (a full one)
  • 1 unit of twine (1/5), a rope, a yarn ball, or a ripped shirt, dirty or not
  • A container from :
    • Empty tin can
    • Empty beer can
    • Empty water bottle
    • Empty pop bottle
    • One lighbulb
  • 10 items from :
    • nails
    • Scrap metal
    • Scrap wood
    • Unusable metal
    • Scrap electronics

The bomb has the following specs :
  • Explosion range : 7 tiles (15 tiles diameter)
  • No fire
  • Damage : 50
  • Throwing range : 10 tiles
  • Needs a lighter in secondary slot to be lit up
  • Weight : 1
!!! The bombs has an empty tin can sprite in the inventory and when thrown, that's because I'm a dev, not an artist, and also, I'm lazy.

I'll probably never listen for requests, so feel free to extend the mod yourself however you want, just give credit when it's due.

I kind of like these. just got into using this kind of weapon in game, and while it doesn't have any indicator of the full point of explosion, the fact is it's just one of the more craftable explosives ive been able to find. water bottles are the centerpoint of so many base explosives that just having the option for lightbulbs or pop bottles is an improvement.

What I meant was that you take the files I have created (that are in your computer) and edit them to your likings. I appreciate the helop though, although graphics are definitely not my priority !

Actually someone that is not the author can't change the icons of a mod that isn't his, I'm 99% sure of it. Plus, I don't even use bombs, I just offered a hand.
