Loading instructions:

Subscribe to the build and open Stormworks to main menu. Select New Game. Select desired features. Select Enabled Add-ons tab. Go to "Workshop" add-ons tab. Toggle the "ISLAND GETAWAY" tab to On. Start the new game and travel to the base when ready (should be indicated on map).

The idea of this build was to keep myself (and hopefully you!) entertained and safe from the weather while brainstorming during the hectic weather events of Stormworks. This is the reason for so many interactive systems throughout the build. This island base is pretty close to my true life desires of my own island getaway.

Now, lets get into that boat engine thing...

The white boat on "The Hard" (ground) needs an engine transplant.... I might've blown the last one up...Whoops!

You will find the blown engine scattered across the workshop, being repaired. So in the meantime, Im gonna have to ask a favor....Can you swap in the new engine for me? I'd be greatly appreciative, along with the stranded civilians of Stormworks....

To swap the engine, start by removing the engine cover. To do so, disengage floor seal on boat transom. Move crane into place, lowering winch to floor. Connect the floor to the winch and lift floor out of way. Crane the floor back and set out of the way. Disconnect. Next, open the workshop doors. Get on the Lift truck. Move truck into place and connect to engine (next to Indy Car). Slowly reverse out of shop. Move engine under crane. Disconnect engine and back truck out of the way. Lower winch and connect engine. Once connected to engine, lift engine until winch stops. Move crane into position over boat. When positioned, lower engine into place with winch. Engine should snap into place when close. (if engine is not connecting to boat or connectors, check that connector toggles are set as needed)(engine and floor may need a bit of playing with / button switching to get them to seat properly and seal/connect).

Now, to start the engine, we'll need to connect the engine air / exhaust with hoses. Air connections are colored white/ green, and the exhaust is colored white / red. Both connections are on the PORT side of the vessel and engine. Hoses are stored in vessel transom.

Once all connections are made, go inside the boat and try to start it. Test the clutch, gearboxes, reverse, and throttle. If you disconnect the boat connectors and wait for a tsunami, or use your vehicle to move it into the water, it should fully function as intended.

To remove the engine, simply reverse the installation process.

Thank you for checking out my creation and maybe check out my others on my page!

This is, and will continue to be a WORK IN PROGRESS. Check back for updates occasionally!
