Not accusing of anything, but after downloading this and running a few of the files through VirusTotal, there awc.dll files are reported as malware. Additionally, even though the main executable in the zip file is reported as 'no malware detected', it is signed by Kalloc Studios, which has a Safe Browsing Advisory from Google.
Of course this could be false positives, but people should be aware of the risks.

I did all of that step by step.. But the game doesn't launch at all. It tries to, but in a few seconds it just stops

I followed the steps in the guide exactly and the game launched and played successfully. Start from the a fresh install and try again possibly?

I will uninstall, reinstall and follow these steps exactly as I wrote them to verify. This patch I have been using on my PC at 2560x1440 and my Wife's PC 3840x2160 resolutions.

So when I try to apply this it doesn't allow my game to boot up. When I try to start my game after replacing the files it simply won't boot.
