SEGA provided free animated art in the games install directory for the covers and banners. One of which is broken but this guide shows how to fix this and use it.

How to
You can find the animated artwork in your install directory within the extras sub-folder eg:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Alien Isolation\Extras

In your library right click the cover or banner of alien isolation and select "Set custom artwork" or "Set custom background".
Navigate to the directory listed above and choose your artwork.

Using 01-SPACE.jpg banner
You may notice that the unlike all the other art banner named 01-SPACE.jpg does not work. This is due to the file size being over 100MB which is higher than steam usually allows.

If you want to use it, place 01-SPACE.jpg into your grid folder under your user data and change the file name to 214490_hero.jpg and it will work.
Directory is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user-id>\config\grid


What is my <user-id>?
You likely only have 1 steam user on your PC assuming its a personal computer, if not then as long as you haven't signed into multiple accounts your user id folder wont be hard to find within
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\

If you're still unsure use https://www.steamidfinder.com and search for your username and look at your "Steam3 ID" or "AccountID".
