BE AWARE!
  • This mod only works on COTD Remastered {Map Link}
  • There is a known issue of co-op play hard crashing to desktop all but host (but sometimes also the host - usually all but 1 player) around round 16-17. Report any significant discrepancies you find. We are trying to fix this issue

This mod was made with permission from the COTD Remastered map creator, and will be taken down or altered if requested to by them. I have nothing but respect for their work, and just want to offer an alternative experience to the map


FEATURES
  • Replaces all weapons with Bo3 ones (both DLC and base)
  • Replaces spawn pistol with Bo3 M1911
  • Replaces Bo1 deathmachine with Bo3 deathmachine
  • Replaces all weapon Wallbuys
  • Replaces player icons with more Bo3-styled ones (Credit: Glitch)
  • Replaces Scavenger with the Scavenger from custom map Great Leap Forward (Credit: MikeyRay)
  • Replaces perk shaders to be the classic Bo3 perk shaders
  • Replaces pack camo with ice-y pack camo from multiplayer

Hey idk if you have an interest in this but it'd be cool to see a tag der toten version of call of the dead made, ideally a combination that's based on tag and has its features plus the vr11, scavenger, and maybe George. Could be built off the cotd map like this mod if the OC is ok with it

@overlordxviii The map uses the default Bo3 perk icons, I do not know exactly what your issue is nor have I noticed them become blurry.

Regardless I no longer update this mod as I do not have the source files, so I apologize if something is not functioning properly but I cannot update this mod anymore.

Hey thanks for this mod, I wonder if there can be an option to have both BO1 and BO3 weapons at the same time, we would get best of both worlds. xoxo :steamhappy:

@Blue Phantom L-car is a good shout, I agree. This mod is past it’s window for me to work on it, but I always appreciate the comments/suggestions/critiques regardless. It gives more perspectives to consider for future projects.

I get the whole demanding part but I wasn't coming off as both mean and entitled and I know its not my mod. Just wanted to put my two cents into this discussion, although I should've worded better in my previous post I admit.

That being said, You made a good point about the Zombies Chronicles style. Didn't notice that and thats on me for not reading the description carefully. To be clear I thought this mod was to replaced the weapon wall-buys with of course the BO3 guns but with the ones that, like I listed below, would make sense (at least stats-wise) and replaces some with updated models like how the L-CAR 9 should replaced the PM63 cause they share the same magazine size (both holds up to 20 rounds) or how the BO3 M14 should replaced the BO1 M14 for example.

At the end of the day: I still love this mod and will forever use this mod whenever I play the Call of the Dead Remastered mod. It was just a misunderstanding in my part and I would like to apologize for that.

The way you phrased that sounds very demanding and entitled. "I don't like things this way so you need to change it to the way I want it."

1. Mod is not yours, it will be changed as the creator sees fit.
2. It is mean to change it to a Zombies Chronicles style. If you play the Chronicles maps, you'll see that the Olympia and the M14 are indeed replaced by the RK5 and the Shieva.. like they are in this mod.

See what's happening here? The mod did as it was intended to do.
