Intro
**Updated for 1.5.8** (New Permafrost Map included) - 35/35 Achievements

This guide is not here to teach you how to fly, it is here to share a few tips and tricks on how to obtain all the achievements in this FPV sim! Most of the achievements are really straightforward, but there are a few that you may be stuck on. Hopefully this guide will help!
Tutorial Achievements
Just complete all the tutorial sessions and finish first in both races of the ‘Final Test’ section of the tutorial. These are new achievements that have been added to help new flyers get into FPV!

Spread Your WingsComplete all tutorials.

Natural TalentFinish first in both races of the ‘Final Test’ tutorial.
Liftoff Pro Achievements
Be sure to sign up for Liftoff Pro when you start Liftoff! If you’re returning to the game after a long time, you may need to sign in or log in. You can do this by clicking the icon in the top right corner of your screen. (See Gift Boxes Achievements section for tips on leveling a little bit quicker.)

TakeoffReach level 1 on your Liftoff Pro account.

AscendReach level 10 on your Liftoff Pro account.

SoaringReach level 20 on your Liftoff Pro account.
Gift Boxes Achievements
As you level up, you get gift boxes to open. You can save these up to open all at once or you can open them level by level. The gift boxes give drone parts that you can use on your drones in the work bench. To level up quickly, you can get bonus experience from improving your best times on races on each map, by doing multiplayer races, and by completing a race on each track once a day. I leveled up quickly by creating a multiplayer lobby and running through my favorite laps each day. Total xp needed to reach 30 gift boxes is estimated around ~28,000 xp.

Rare GoodiesOpen 10 gift boxes in the drone workbench.

Epic GoodiesOpen 20 gift boxes in the drone workbench.

Legendary GoodiesOpen 30 gift boxes in the drone workbench.
Create Achievements
All of these are easy to obtain. To create a custom drone setup just go to the main menu, select Tools, Workbench, then Drone Editor. Click on My Fleet and make a custom drone. Then share the drone to the steam workshop to knock out two of the three achievements in this section. To create a track just go to the main menu and select Tools, Track Builder and then just place a gate or two down, press save and then you should unlock your track builder achievement.

TinkererCreate a custom drone setup from scratch.

Track BuilderCreate a custom track.

Sharing is CaringShare a Track, Race or Drone setup on the Steam Workshop.
Single Player Racing Achievements
Racing against bots might be the hardest achievements for some people. I would suggest if you’re having trouble beating them to pick your favorite map that suits your flying style and just practice. As your times improve on tracks, so do the bots. Once you beat them once or twice on one map, switch to another to beat them again. Be sure to create a custom drone that feels good and is as fast as you can handle!

Practice RoundsFinish first in a race against bots.

Practice Makes PerfectFinish first in 10 races against bots.

Infinity LoopComplete 10 consecutive laps in a Infinite Race session.
Multiplayer Racing Achievements
The way I obtained these achievements is by having two of my friends play with me to get these. After each multiplayer match, you can give and receive ‘likes’ which takes care of two of them. The fastest way to unlock the others is to play a map like Autumn Fields – A Walk in the Park since it’s so short. If you’re needing help with the multiplayer achievements, feel free to comment or add me.

ApplauseGive 20 likes to other players in multiplayer games.

ApplaudedReceive 30 likes from other players in multiplayer games.

The Fast & The FuriousFinish first in a multiplayer classic race with at least 2 other players.

2 Fast 2 FuriousFinish first in 10 multiplayer classic races with at least 2 other players.

Last Man FlyingFinish first in a multiplayer dropout race with at least 2 other players.

Making Your MarkPlace a time on Liftoff Pro tournament leaderboard.

To complete this last achievement, you’ll have to wait until there is a liftoff pro tournament available. There are usually quite a few of these held throughout the year, and all you will need to do is join the tourney, complete the race and place a time. Some tournaments have limited entries so all you have to do is focus on not crashing. The Liftoff Pro tournaments are usually advertised in the community hub on Liftoff's page!
Map Specific Achievements
There are a few achievements that require specific tasks to be completed. Two involve diving, one involves tapping the tops of igloos, and the other is a morse code puzzle achievement. To do the dives, go into free flight mode and just land near the edge of the dive, then throttle enough to fall down into the dive. The momentum will carry you down fast enough to unlock the achievements. The Duga Dive took me quite a while to line up, but just keep at it. The Little Helper achievement was added with the most recent update and the new Permafrost map. All you have to do is fly Northwest of the spawn to the igloo community over the hill and tap all the tops of the igloos that are closed to let the fresh air in.

Bando DiveDive through the tallest elevator shaft in the Bando City environment. Perform the dive in 5 seconds or less.

Duga DiveDive through the climbing stairs of one of the side towers in the Woodpecker environment. Perform the dive in 5 seconds or less.

Little HelperA breath of fresh air in the Permafrost glass igloos.

Surtur’s Sacrifice.-. .- -.. .. --- / - --- .-- . .-. ... (RADIO TOWERS in morse code)

If you go to the Surtur map, load in a free flight session and head to one of the two mountain ranges. There is one east of the player’s starting point, and one west of the starting point. Along the top of the east range there is a radio tower giving off the phrase ‘STONECIRCLE’ in morse code. Along the top of the west range, you will find two radio towers. The red radio tower can be found more southwest along the western range, and it gives out the phrase ‘COMPASS’ in morse code. The green radio tower can be found more northwest along the range, and it gives out the phrase ‘NESWSEWN’ in more code. If you go to the Surtur Henge location on the map (the stone circle location, which is south from the player’s starting spawn) you will be at the location to unlock the achievement. Go into game settings and turn your compass on because you will need it to crack the code. Now fly through the Surtur Henge outer gates in the order of the last morse code phrase from the green tower. NORTH, EAST, SOUTH, WEST, SOUTH, EAST, WEST, NORTH. You should unlock the achievement and hear some UFO sounds!

**Note, if you do not hear the morse code beeps when flying to the towers on top of the mountain ranges, then reload the map/quit the game and come back. I did this achievement when the update was still in beta testing before full release, so I must have encountered a bug or something because I didn’t hear any morse code being broadcasted from the towers the first few times loading the map in. Eventually it worked.
Calendar Event Specific Achievements
Over the course of the year, there are holiday events that are held in liftoff that hold achievements. Be sure to set your calendar because if you do not want to miss these and have to wait a whole year. The events are sometimes around 2-4 weeks but depending on the holiday they are as short as a few days. Keep an eye out and knock these out! Just collect whatever item is associated with that holiday, I found that booting up the small hangar map was the easiest to find all the items.

Heart CollectorCollect all the hearts in a signle environment during the Valentine’s Day event.

Leprechaun MadnessFind all pots of gold in a single environment during the St Patrick’s day event.

Fool’s GoldCollect all the coins in a single environment during the April Fool’s event.

Easter Egg HuntingFind all easter eggs in a single environment during the Easter event.

LuGus FestActivate all LuGus cubes in a single environment during the LuGus festival event.

Trick or TreatTrick all the pumpkins into giving you treats in a single environment during the Halloween event.

Snow Spotter Spot every snowman in a single environment during the Christmas event.

The dates are:
February 14th – Heart Collector
March 17th – Leprechaun Madness
April 1st – Fool’s Gold
April 15th – Easter Egg Hunting
August 1st – LuGus Fest
October 31st – Trick or Treat
December 25th – Snow Spotter
