Day 24 - Yuletide Village (WORLD)

Introducing Day Number 24, the Yuletide Village

This world was a collaboration produced by myself, as well as all of the contributors listed below. Please go give them the credit they deserve, as this world would be nowhere near as good without there efforts...

"A spaceman came travelling, on his grid from afar, Twas light years of time since his jump drive did spark. And over a village, he halted his craft, and it hung on the sky like a star… Just like a star. He followed a light and came down to a base, where a mother and child were lying there on a bed. A bright light of silver shone round his head, and he had the face of marek.

And they were afraid…

And the engineer spoke, he said ‘Do not fear, I come from a planet a long way from here, and I bring a message for your faction to hear. And suddenly the sweetest music. Filled the air. And it went #/# <cue_the_fun_music>’”

Shout out to Dragon for his anti-aircraft defence tower (the grinch won't be coming near us with that).

This event as a whole, was a lot of hard work from Myself, Lunar, and all parties above, that has been in the planning stages as far back as mid-September, but once again it has been more than worth it to see all the support and amazing comments, especially from those who remembered it from last year, and came back for more :)

Unfortunately, it is unlikely we will be going for a hat trick with a third one next year, due to a variety of reasons, however I massively encourage anyone who may be considering it to have a go with one of your own next year. It can be really fun to watch play out and a great way for the communities to come together, (and frankly I’d just like to see what you’d come up with).

We hope you enjoyed the calendar and would love to hear what your favourite was. Thank you very much for following this event as it went on. Have a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year!
