Walther WA 2000 (early model) from Payday 2

An extremely rare German sniper rifle, around two hundred of which were made, plus-minus fifty. It combines traditional (wooden furniture) and novelty (bullpup design) elements, making it look unique. Its futuristic and unusual appearance paved its way to television and videogames, but its exorbitant price killed any hopes of mass production, making the existing rifles even more coveted.


A long considered model, and surprisingly I was able to make it much quicker than anticipated. I would probably have made it for the Military Sniper, because I already have one such weapon in the Workshop. but I just wanted to have a Skin 2. The regular skin has the marbly walnut furniture as I thought the default one looked a bit boring, and Skin 2 is actually the "Leichter" version whose PD2 model is cut down presumably for lightening (who would cut, of all things, a freaking WA2000!?) but its texture is untarnished and completely interchangeable with the basic model. It looks like someone applied copious amounts of sandpaper (poor, poor WahWah) and then applied colorless lacquer. Feels good working with models that actually have both sides modeled.
