The Guide
To use the Offering Bowl you need to first obtain an artifact that you obtained as a mission reward.

After obtaining the artifact you can research it at the forge, which increases your research level and gives you one of 4 different artifact types.

Once per night, you can place one of these artifacts in the offering bowl at night and use a word of power, you will obtain a reward.

You get BONUS rewards (gloss) if you use the correct power word to match the item.

You get an increase to the bonus gloss if the offering bowl is used at the correct moon phase.


Book - Open - Waning Moon

Wand - Reveal- New Moon

bowl- Purify - Full Moon

Knife - Break - Waxing Moon

Necklace - Any

@Artemis, open the map and you will see what moon phase is active. On the right side under the day of the week.

@Clarybou Lol, if you dont know where the bowl is, you been slacking in your Witch duties... there are plants you can collect every night to make more essence for cards and upgrades. we definitely need 2 star cards, 3 (star) mods would probably be too OP but it would be cool to have double effect.

The phases of the moon also have an effect on the gloss bonus. Waxing is for the knife, full for the bowl, waning for the book and new for the wand. Use the right item on the right moon with the right word for maximum gloss bonus. Rarity of the item sacrificed also affects this obviously.

Necklaces don't get a bonus, they always give the same reward, depending on their rarity, regardless of the word of power used. Purify is only for bowls :)

I was wondering what to do with the stuff i put in the bowl! I just placed it in there and never yelled at it duh

When you warp to the Alter, while facing it, to its left you should see some blue torches which will lead a path towards the offering bowl.

@Clarybou I made that mistake at first also. The statue is her 'shrine', she says it's near her 'altar' which is the Elemental Altar.

I remember Agatha mentioning being close to her statue, but I can't find it
