Adds Epaminondas, Greek General and Statesman of Thebes, he reshaped the political map of Greece, tearing down the existing alliances of the time and building new ones. Praised for his military prowess and inventing various military tactics, he broke the spartan military power of the time and liberated their enslaved vassals.
The Sacred Band was a renowned troop of the best Theban soldiers and consisting of pairs of male lovers to form a strong devotion during combat. Garrisoning the Cadmea at Thebes, their training included wrestling and dance.

Epaminondas
Boeotian League
  • +2 Culture, +2 Great General Points, and +2 Influence Points per turn for each active Alliance. Bonus doubled with each active Alliance at Level 3.
  • Unlocks Protectorate War and Liberation War at Early Empire
  • Gain the Sacred Band unique unit with Drama and Poetry.

Sacred Band
  • Unlocked at Drama and Poetry
  • Replaces the Swordsman. Grants Great General Points on kill. +5 Combat Strength against Light and Heavy Cavalry.
  • Does not suffer combat penalties when damaged if adjacent to another Sacred Band.

First Man of Greece
  • Seeks to form Alliances, and is pleased by Civilizations that do the same. Dislikes Civilizations that keep a large standing army and don't form Alliances.

Compatibility
This mod requires Gathering Storm.
This mod is a re-release of my old Epaminondas mod, which has been Unlisted, but remains on the workshop (to avoid breaking saves)
This mod is mutually exclusive with that one.

Updated to fix stacking of ability, buffed to also provide Culture, and Sacred Band now generates GGP and has a minor anti-cavalry bonus.

In fact, only the UU became now a only one warrior in a tile, it can be a mod conflict?

@Merrick, i love your saxon mods, i have and use all, but, epaminondas, when i enable, mess my game, my warriors and spearmans became only one soldier in tile, bigger, what is happening?
